Zoe was so glad to get out of DADD. It had just been too much boring, unimportant stuff. Basically, it had sucked. Nora Taco had promised cool and exciting things. She had claimed that Zoe was perfect for the role, that Zoe's skills were needed. But Zoe's skills weren't needed, not at all. All she was good for at DADD was doing the paperwork no one else wanted to do.
"You'll work your way up!" they had said. But all Zoe would have been able to work her way up to was more of the same boring stuff. Except eventually, she would get paid to do it. Not good money, though. Just as much as the CIA would think they could afford, which was never much.
And so, at the first chance she got, Zoe left. And while the people at DADD were far from thrilled about Zoe leaving (because now they had to do the paperwork Zoe had been doing), it wasn't like they could do anything about it. Zoe was done, and that was that.
