On Joshua coming back from the dead only to die again, or so she thought.
The shock that Joshua was alive had worn off when Erica was taken to the mine, but in the weeks after that was resolved, now that Joshua was again assumed dead, that shock had come back. It was weird to process that he had been so alive, so evil, so briefly there. It was hard to make sense of any of it.
Joshua wasn't dead. Or, he hadn't been. But he had betrayed Erica. It wasn't supposed to have been like this. But it was.
Erica had been betrayed. And now it was over.
If only it truly was over.
I've been having a lot to write this mess of a week, but it's mostly been drabbles, so expect a lot of really short stuff.
