Time Skip ~
The night before the confrontation ~

Melody's PoV ~

Soon I'll put a brat in her place, though I knew that Alice has been watching our movements. I knew this would mean we wouldn't have the element of surprise, however that wouldn't bother me as we had powerful vampires on our side.

On to the topic of my brother he had been asking me when my coven and I would be coming down. At first I was confused since I didn't know why he was trying to find out when I would ask him. He just told me he wants to be there like I was going to allow him to be there.

But I knew my brother and I knew he would find himself at the meeting point, he's stubborn like me. I had also noticed how the pack has been ignoring my calls, actually let me rephrase that. The pack has been avoiding questions I ask and they weren't subtle about it.

Jacob's PoV ~

Ever since Charlie found out he's been the male Melody and it was scary to see, because just like his sister he had moments where he wouldn't take any of the Cullens bullshit. Like the day he came over after he found out about sunshine, he was pissed and I saw him so protective of the child I thought he was gonna adopt her.

On to better news Harmoni and I have been on a few dates, having her as my imprint feels so much better than when I wanted Bella to be mine. Harmoni treats me like I'm worth something and I show her all my love and appreciation for that.

Paul and I have also gotten close, I'm thinking of making him my second in command when I ready to take over the pack. I had realized in spending time with Paul that he wasn't that much of an asshole just protective of everyone he cares about, but due to his dad, his caring side can seem like he's being a total jerk.

My phone began ringing and I saw it was Melody I throw my phone at Paul and begin running away all I hear is Paul shouting at me making me laugh. Thank you for your sacrifice Paul you will be greatly missed.

Paul's PoV ~

That bastard left me to deal with Melody she will cuss me into next year, just to bring me back and cuss me into the next 5 years. If I die I swear I'm going to haunt Jacob, actually screw it I will haunt the whole pack except for Seth and Leah they are Melody's kids and I don't want to die again.

I answer the phone "hey Melody what the reason for the call" she started chuckling and I felt scared she told me to pass a message on to Jake, I knew I was also in trouble but hopefully I could be saved by my imprint. Actually now that I think about it Melody is gonna kill because I didn't tell her about my imprint.

Deciding to just accept it all, I accept my incoming death at the hand of my family imprint that is Melody. I then got a call on my phone it was Sam I was confused until I smelled a vampire on our territory, it was the weirdo Edward. So I made my way to the smell and I was on guard, ready to protect if I need to.

"I know I'm not welcome but you should not Alice said the Volturi will be here soon we wanted to know if you would like to spend the night with us" I look to my left to see Jake walking over with sunshine and Rosalie's daughter I smile seeing them both and ignore the weird one.

I was tackled as I crouched yo hug Alexis and sunshine, only for Edward to speak again "this was Alexis' wish" I looked at Jacob then I looked at the other members of the pack "my pack isn't comfortable around you and the unknown vampires Edward" said Jacob.

I was surprised by how he sounded but I kept quiet "however me and whoever else from my pack member will come. I will not force anyone" again I was surprised by his maturity I stepped forward and so did Jared. It seemed that we both had the same idea as we ran into the woods and phased into our wolf forms.
