Caius' PoV ~

"Protect the queen at all cost!" I shouted and then there was a chorus of 'yes my king' the elemental advisors continued their chanting and soon they and Melody were covered in another shield. Soon a man and woman walked out of the tree line but they made no movement to attack, I was weary of them "who are you" they didn't answer me as their eyes were on Melody.

Caius' PoV ~

I stood in front of my mate "I ask again. Who. Are. You" the woman then finally looked at me but instead of answering me she asked me a question of her own "how does a vampire know Melruthiia" I tensed as she used my mates name. I watched her some more and decided to answer "I am her chosen. Along with my brothers" they looked at each other as if they were having a mental conversation.

As they hadn't answered my question I went to ask again, but this time the man spoke "we are her elemental godparents, for years we believed that Melruthiia was dead. So for years we hid not deserving to feel any elements as we failed as friends, guards and godparents" I could tell they were speaking the truth. So I let them speak but kept watching their movements so that my mate is safe.

"If that is the case why are you here now, there was a point when she was travelling and was accepting her title what made you come here now" they looked down "we didn't believe it, Yavanna had her spies watching and we thought that if it was truly our goddaughter then she would be better without us" the man said this time.

They looked at each other then the woman spoke "so we decided that we needed to start accepting our elements again once we had enough power I flew us here" I almost flinched as I thought about how this must look to them. Where is Aro when I need him "Caius I swear I will strangle everything I can out of you and your brothers" Melody said.

"Now that's not nice, I as far as my brothers and I knew, we couldn't get you pregnant" she glared at me and I held her stare with my own. She gave up and I smirked, then I turned back to look at the unnamed couple.

Third Person's PoV ~

In the clearing Melody was pushing, Jasper had to leave as he became overwhelmed by everyone's worry and his mates pain. Marcus was pacing as the shield around his mate wouldn't let him enter, soon Aro had returned with a man in his late thirties and was balding. When Melody looked up she cringed at the sight of the man.

"He won't be missed, a child predator and an abuser" this made many look at the man with disgust but he was to busy watching the woman in pain with lust. Making the remaining kings angry but the advisors let the shield down, Aro then pushed the man and like that his life was over.

Melody then looked at her playful king and nodded in thanks as she didn't feel as much pain as before. All those in the area let out a sigh as their queen was feeling better "we need to go to the sea and now." Melody said, many seemed to be unsure as they didn't want to move elemental queen but listened to what she said.

As she would know her body best.

Aro's PoV ~

I watched as my mate tried to stand but was too weak, Marcus was over to her as soon as he noticed that the shield was down. I looked at Caius "brother tell the pack to clear the beach" he nodded and then he was gone, I took a breath that I didn't need and looked at my mate "are you still thirsty" she shook her head and let out a long sigh.

"Just know I'm adopting more children instead of going through this pain" she said and pouted at me, Marcus kissed her forehead then we began making our way to the beach.
