Aiden stood stiff with his mouth shut in grim and fist clenched.

The silence was broken, and the dreading question was spoken.

" Is it true? Did he kiss you?"

It wasn't an accusation but a question that could stimulate the storm that could destroy our delicate relationship which was in its primitive stage. I knew I couldn't hide the truth from him and it would only lead to perdition, I wanted to desperately fix everything.

" Yesterday night when you k-kissed Ava," I began with a broken and timid voice, and I saw regret on his face when Ava's name was mentioned," I left with him because he was there when I was in no sense. He dropped me to the dorm and comfort me, and without me knowing, he tries to kiss me, but before he could, I pulled away, he tried to apologize but I didn't pay heed and sprinted from there. I would never do that to you not after when you confessed your feeling." My eyes welled up again this time in sorrow.

Hardly we had moments of bliss and again we stood in the abyss of doom. I could see the disruption on his face and it was factual emotion to be felt if I was in his place. The solid hope was that somehow, he understands.

He closes his eyes and took a deep breath

"I understand," he said with shocking tranquility.

" You sure?" My incredulous gaze fixed on him, thinking he might be just deceiving me with his collected stance. But then, he nodded pulling me against him and cupping my face with both hands and I sighed in relief.

" I can't be mad upon you when I am too at the fault, you have overlooked my mistakes and it's only fair to not let things as insignificant as this to come between us." He kissed my lips lightly, like a feather. A bright smile adorned my face, our relationship was prospering and it was only the inception of growing into something beautiful.

"Atleast meet her one time!" Lucy mumbled, stomping her feet like a child.

" No, I don't want to," Elliot said, carelessly.

" Please just once, she is really sweet."

Elliot and Lucy came to a degree where they couldn't come established a negotiation. Lucy has vowed to set up Elliot with a girl, who she was a friend while Elliot didn't seem keen on the idea.

We were standing outdoors in the college where the crowd was in high spirits, and the climate was at its peak. As I was wallowing in their repartee, my eyes fell on Aiden, as he approached me with a smile on his face. A rumble of excitement surged into my stomach. Every time I see him, there is a renewed set of feelings I felt.

"So girlfriend, are you ready to go?" He asked and he softly kissed me on the lips. The one of merits of being in a relationship was that you get a personalized driver that could save you from walking miles.

"Aiden, there are people around!" I whisper-yelled while the blush crept on my cheeks.

"So, does that fucking can stop me?" He smirked and looked towards Lucy and Elliot, who were still arguing.

"They both are fucking annoying," he remarked and earned a slap on his hand from me.

"First watch your language and second they are my friends," I said, as he rubbed the part that stung. He grumbled something under his breath that I couldn't comprehend. Laughing at his frolics my eyes wandered once again at the duo in disagreement.

" -stop it you are not making any sense, Lucy. Emerald, please save me." Elliot gazed at me with a pleading look. His face was flushed, was it because of its heat or annoyance I couldn't tell, but maybe the second one seemed a considerable option.
