He moved out of the car too and stood before me, my gaze fell on his blood-stained knuckle which earlier I didn't notice. The blood had dried.
Concerned griped my heart for his well-being, would he be fine? How will he clean it or would he even think to clean it and leave it thinking as it's an insignificant wound. I wondered if his wound is this bad than what would have ensued to Daniel?
I passed him the keys. "Clean and put some medicine on it or it will get infected."
He peeked at his knuckled like he this instant realized that he had damage on his hands. I whirled to resign for the night, however, his melodious deep voice ceased me, "where are you going?"
Turning again to face him, I looked at him straight. Perhaps, his outrage has taken the silhouette of tranquility but affliction glimmers could be evident on his countenance.
"Dormant room." I unleashed through my clenched teeth as cold wind flared in the atmosphere. The dress which I wore didn't do any respectable work in defending myself from the harsh wind.
His eyes glazed with thoughtfulness for the moment.
"Stay."
" W- What?" I stuttered.
"I won't repeat," he strode silently, gesturing for me to follow him. For a brief moment, the shock took over me thinking that he really considered to let me reside at his house for the night. Conceivably, it was a decent suggestion to stay here and redeem myself from walking to my dormant, and additionally, it's was a night and I will be spared from abducting by scoundrels lingering on the road.
Forthwith, I followed him, even though being here before, nonetheless, this house's marvelous and gigantic structure made me filled me wonder.
We silently strolled inside the house, yes house because it was far from home. Wall that stood was just surrounded for protection from the harsh wind of winter and the sweltering heat and the roaring thunder, no warmth nor memories were captured of history.
"You can stay in the guest room," he said, as we strode inside.
I nodded my head.
Considering how massive his house was, we arrived on the second floor in a few twinkling minutes. When I unlocked the door, the beautiful and elegant interior greeted me. A king size bed was placed in the middle with a fireplace in front, sumptuous decor was adorned on the wall. The exotic scent of orange drifted through the air and brought a sense of freshness.
Before Aiden could retreat to his room, I ceased him by clutching his forearm, a spark generated from our skin contact. He peeped at my hand and then at me in perplexity.
"Come," I mildly tugged his arm, a sign to follow. Wordlessly, he complied and we marched to the bathroom. I urged him to seat on the counter, he silently watched my every action, perhaps wondering what I was doing. Promptly, after a few seconds of exertion and rummaging through cabinets, I found a first aid kit.
" Your hand is bleeding and it needs attention," I remove the disinfection and poured it on cotton and took his hand in mine.
"It's not needed," he said and started to rose from the surface but I placed my both hand on his board shoulder.
"Yes, it is needed or it will get infected."
" I said it's not needed, are you that dumb to not understand simple terms no?" He said coldly and my heart drop at his insult.
He stared at me, blankly.
"Are you afraid?" After a moment, I inquired, gazing straight at his mesmerizing wilderness gaze. " Afraid that disinfectant would hurt, don't worry I will be gentle." there was a small smile on my face, we both knew I was quipping and distracting him, so I could examine his hand.
