The Fall of Ozai (Zuko x Reader)

School?!

You decided to let Aang fly Appa since he's been out for so long, while he was flying you and Kat bent clouds around Appa so he looked like a cloud floating around not suspiciously.

"Hey, I think that's a cave down there!" Aang announced. Sokka face palmed. You and the gaang all flopped down into the cave setting up camp.

"Sokka, I hate this, cave after cave after cave thing!" You protested laying out the sleeping bags.

"Yeah me too." Katara sighed.

"Maybe we could stay in an inn!" Toph suggested for the millionth time.

"No that's to dangerous." Sokka rejected her, again.

"What if got new clothes! Hiding in plain sight." Aang offered. All 4 of you looked at Sokka with hope. He sighed and agreed. You lead them all to an old laundry place, where all the laundry in the town was done. You scanned the clothes lines and looked.

"I call the robe!" Katara smiled. All of you raced through the clothes lines grabbing stuff. You found some clothes you liked and took off with a sprint. (The Ashes outfit in the picture I modified it a little though so you could bend in it) You ran behind a boulder and threw off your old fire nation cloak and torn armor pulling on the black on the black leggings and putting on the black crop top, you put a fire nation choker around your neck and connected it with a red cover up. You looked in a puddle nearby at yourself. You pulled your hair from it's place on top of your head in a ponytail and let it fall around your shoulders. You rand a hand through it giving a little messy look to it. You pulled on the knee high black heel-less boots that had gold flames on them and ran out to meet the others. You smiled at Katara and Toph seeing how beautiful they looked. You didn't realize they noticed you till Katara gasped. You snapped your gaze up to meet hers.

"Do I look okay?" You asked panicking a little.

"You look beautiful!" Katara exclaimed. You blushed a little. Then headed into town. While Sokka, Katara, and Toph went for meat you and Aang went looking somewhere else. Then out of nowhere you both were grabbed by guards.

"So I see your both out of school, next time try not to wear your school uniform boy." One snapped you twisted out of the guards arms your lips a thin line.

"You, girl, are to young to be out of school." The other guard snapped dragging you into school. You gave Aang a goofy look before getting dragged off in the other direction. When I was shoved into a classroom everyone looked at you. You smiled at them running a hand through your hair nervously.

"What is your name, my dear?" The teacher asked.

"Hotaru." You answered, it means firefly, it was the name of your best friend who was a servant with you when you were little.

"Well your attire is very inappropriate." The teacher commented. You frown at her.

"Well since I'm new I wasn't supplied with a uniform so, get over it." You said snarikily before sitting down in the very back. When the bell rang for break you were told to stay after. You groaned but complied.

" Your behavior was very unacceptable." The teacher stated.

"I know, I'm sorry, I had a rough morning. You lied. The teacher waved you off. You walked out to the courtyard and saw a big commotion.  You peeled through the crowd seeing Aang or Kuzon being threatened by some dumb jock. You knew his older brother that was in your class. You mocked the jock when he pointed his to his eyes and then to Aang making weird faces. The jock looked at you seeming very alarmed. The bell rang and you moved back to your next class. It was waltzing, because we are the next generation in need of grace and some ability. The dancing was slow and inexpressible till you were told to come to the center of the ballroom to show what you knew of dancing since Aang told everyone dancing was something people did in the colonies. Where you are apparently from.

"Give me something unique." You told the pianist.  You had the crowded class move back away from you as you sat down on the wood. Before twisting when the music started. You lifted your leg up in the air ad started the dance. (The dance in the video. When you were done you were out of breath.

"That was unacceptable dancing Hotaru. Our dancing is on our feet and as a lady you must let a man do the dancing for you." The teacher snapped. You raised your eyebrows biting your tongue when the final  bell rang. You left with a huff and went to go meet Aang. Then you headed back to the cave angrily.
