"Dad, I told you that I don't want to meet anyone. I don't want to have an arranged date or anything like that," Liam said, looking around.

"I just want you to meet people around your age and go out, have someone to go out with while we're in the city. Nothing more," Atticus, Liam's father said.

"I have friends here. I know you and you always have a hidden agenda," Liam said.

"Nonsense, here they come. Smile," his father said.

"Mohamed! It's so good to see you, my friend!" Atticus said smiling and hugging the man.

"Glad you could come. Gigi, Bella, say hi to Atticus and his son," Mohamed said.

"Hi, I'm Gigi, she's Bella," the blonde girl said.

"Hi, hi, I'm Liam, nice to meet you," he said smiling warmly at her. She was the most beautiful girl he ever met.

"Nice to meet you," Bella said smiling at him. Maybe too much.

"Kids, go and mingle, Atticus and I have some businesses to talk about," Mohamed said.

Mohamed Hadid was known for his lucrative career as a real estate developer and Atticus was looking to expand his construction company by doing some business with him.

Liam had been infatuated with Gigi's beauty since the minute he met her and he was so nervous to even say a word to her.

"So, you both are models, right?" Liam asked Gigi but she wasn't paying much attention to him.

"Erm, yes, we are! It's so hard sometimes, y'know?" Bella said enthusiastically.

"I can imagine. And do you like it, Gigi?" He asked.

"Erm, yes. Of course, I do. And, what do you do? Are you working with your father, I suppose?" She said smiling politely at him. She knew what his father wanted to do introducing them.

"Yes, I finished Business college in the States and I'm working with him now," he said sipping his champagne.

"That sounds interesting, what do you do exactly?" Bella asked him.

"My mother is calling me, be right back okay?" Gigi said abruptly

"Mother is calling you? Where?" Bella asked looking around.

"Bella can keep you company in the meantime, right Bells?" Gigi said walking away and getting lost among the crowd.

She was intercepted by a waiter and she grabbed a glass of champagne and headed to a balcony to find her new love interest.

"Zayn doesn't know anything, Niall.
I was supposed to date Gigi because of my father's interests and we went out as friends a couple of times but... she was interested in someone else," Liam said.

"Zayn. Oh man, I swear I'm writing a novel based on all of this. At least, put it on Wattpad or something though," Niall joked.

"This is serious, Niall. I care about her, I don't want her to suffer. She loves Zayn, I see how she looks at him, how she smiles when he calls her "babe" and..." Liam said.

"I'm sorry man, I didn't want to sound insensitive. This is... why you took his London apartment project and now hers? To be close by?" Niall asked.

"I... like being around her, at least as a friend," Liam said nodding.

They came back to the bookstore and Harry and the contractors were almost done with the final touches for the event the next day.

"Hi! Everything is confirmed for tomorrow, the author arrived today and she's ready for her reading, his place is over here. The copies of the book are set at the entrance, here are the seats for the audience and over these tables the catering. All set," Harry explained excitedly.
