~Liv~

Everyone watched from their positions as a blue portal caused by the Tesseract appeared, a large purple man walking out of it, looking around the desolate planet of Titan.

"Oh, yeah. He's much more of a Thanos." Stephen said to me as we sat out in the open, gaining the titan's attention.

"I take it the Maw is dead." The giant said, and the doctor nodded in confirmation. "This day extracts a heavy toll. Still, he accomplished his mission."

"You may regret that. He brought you face to face with the Master of the Mystic Arts and a 3,000-year-old Asgardian Goddess."

"Another Asgardian, huh? I've already dealt with enough of you today." Thanos shook his head as he took a few steps forward.

"I know. But you'll have to deal with at least one more today." I told him.

"So where do you think Maw brought you?" The purple man asked.

"Let me guess. Your home?" Stephen said.

"It was. And it was beautiful."

The man held up the golden gauntlet on his left hand, the red glow of the reality stone shining as he transformed the desert planet into one seemingly full of life.

"Titan was like most planets. Too many mouths, not enough to go around. And when we faced extinction, I offered a solution."

"Genocide." I filled in.

"But random, dispassionate, fair to rich and poor alike. They called me a madman. And what I predicted came to pass."

The red glow from the stone returned as the illusion was taken away, revealing the remains of what was Titan.

"Congratulations, you're a prophet." Strange sassed.

"I'm a survivor." Thanos corrected.

"Who wants to murder trillions," I added.

"With all six stones, I could simply snap my fingers." He demonstrated with his bare hand. "They would all cease to exist. I call that mercy."

"And then what?" I asked as the sorcerer and I stood.

"I'd finally rest, and watch the sun rise on a grateful universe. The hardest choices require the strongest wills."

"I think you'll find all of our will equal to yours." Strange grunted as he summoned his magic.

"All of our...?" Thanos was cut off by Anthony dropping a large stray piece of the ship onto the giant.

"Piece of cake, Quill."

"Yeah, if your goal was to piss him off." The guardian took off, right as a bright purple blast came from where Thanos was.

The titan roared as debris flew all over, the color of the gauntlet's power switching from purple to red. The falling debris then turned into a large flock of birds, a group of them heading straight toward my nephew, causing him to fly back.

Peter Parker then tried his attack, shooting his webs into Thanos's eyes before Drax slid in, slicing at the back of the giant's knees. Strange teleported himself down to the fight, creating a magical sward-like object and aiming it at the giant. Thanos's hit Drax away, grabbing Stephen's weapon in his hand and pulling towards him, making it disappear as he went to kick the Doctor, who flew himself backward with the help of his trusted cape.

Before the purple man could retaliate, Peter Quill flew in, shooting Thanos's back. Strange created a line of jumping pads for the man, who used them to flip overhead the giant, placing an explosive device on his back.
