"And you are both sure about this? I do not want it to feel like I am forcibly taking over the position." I picked at my hands, pacing my bed chambers.
"We are both sure, Sister." Thor warmly smiled, walking up and grabbing my hands, the new metal hand a cool contrast to his right. "You have deserved a spot on the throne you're whole life."
"Yes, we can not imagine a better person to rule Asgard." Loki agreed, stepping up to us. "Besides, you've already pretty much become Allmother in the eyes of Asgardians and Midgardians alike."
"Yeah, what's the rest of the Nine Realms?" I huffed a laugh, removing my left hand to grab one of Loki's. "Thank you. Both of you."
"No, I thank you, Sister! I am greatly honored by my new post as Defender of the Nine Realms. I shall do all I can to keep myself worthy." Thor beamed.
"Yes, and I greatly appreciate my post as head sorcerer, for the counsel." Loki bowed his head.
"Don't forget, next in line, Brother!" Thor cheered, throwing his free arm around Loki's shoulders.
"Excuse me, your majesty." An older woman with brown hair tied into a tight bun at the top of her head peaked threw the door. "They are ready for you all in the throne room."
"Thank you, Madison." I smiled at the woman. "But I am not queen, yet."
"You've been my queen ever since I first became your maid." She chuckled, closing the door behind her.
"That's another reason you should rule. Gone for centuries, and yet the people still adore you." Loki shook his head.
"Well, I am sure the people will come to adore you soon enough, little brother." I smiled. "Now, we should get going! It isn't every day I am to be crowned queen!"
Thor let out a triumphant laugh as he escorted Loki and me to the throne room, the two leaving me at the door with Heimdall.
"Hope you haven't been waiting long." I smiled, the two of us linking arms.
"My dear queen, I have been waiting over 5,000 years for this day. I can wait a few hours more."
"Thankfully, we don't have to wait any longer." I beamed up at the man as he leaned down, pressing a loving kiss to my temple.
"No. No, there is no need for any more waiting."
"Now, presenting, Princess Liv, Goddess of Life, and her companion, Heimdall, Gatekeeper of the Bifrost, Watcher of the Nine Realms."
"It is time. Are you ready?"
I sighed as the large doors opened, revealing the mass of people from all over the Nine Realms, including those of the Avengers sitting with my Valkyrie ladies.
"I've been ready for Centuries."
