~Alex~

Everything seemed to go quiet.

The enemy aliens slowly disappeared into clouds of dust, giving us a chance to finally breathe. Thanos stood, watching all of his warriors, all of his creatures, all of his "children" disappear into nothingness.

But he himself still stood, defeated.

"Thor!" I shouted as the god collapsed, Liv and Olivia both running to his aid.

"Do not fear. He shall be just fine." Liv murmured as gold flowed through Thor's veins. "Oliv, would you be a dear and make sure no blood gets to the infected arm?"

Olivia readily agreed, nodding her head as her shaky hands took Thor's black, dead arm.

"Alex?" Loki shouted, and I quickly stood to find him, barreling into his arms. "I got worried when your clones disappeared. What's happening? What's going on?"

"Your siblings did it." I breathed into my husband's kneck. "Liv held him steady, and Thor snapped his fingers."

Loki's eyes widened upon the news, keeping hold of my hand as he rushed us threw the crowd of heroes. His eyes traveled amongst the Earth Wizards that held Thanos in place to the two women kneeling before his brother, his breath stalling for just a moment before he walked over.

"What... what did you do?" Loki whispered, collapsing to his knees beside Thor.

"I got rid of his army. I thought-" Thor grunted as he sat up, turning toward Gamora and Nebula. "I thought these two, deserved the final blow. I had my turn, it's time they get theirs."

The blue and green women stared at each other, their hands interlocking as they both nodded in thanks to Thor.

"Loki." Gamora got my husband's attention. "There's a lot of him to go around. You wanna help?"

"Oh, I'm not sure..." He stammered, his silver tongue turning to lead.

"Nonsense. After all our father has done to you and your family, I think you deserve to have a bit of justice." Nebula sauntered over, pulling Loki up and dragging him toward the restrained Titan.

I gave Loki a reassuring nod as he looked back at me in a panic. I agreed with those ladies. My love had been tortured and abused by Thanos since 2011. He deserved some justice.

"All right, Thor, I'm going to try and make it so you cannot feel anything here. You might want to look away, though. Alexandra, please distract Thor for a moment."

"What- why does she need to distract me? What are you doing? Sister?"

"You know what I can't wait for?" I asked Thor, placing my hand on his cheek and turning his head so he looked at me, and not the arm that was slowly detaching from the rest of his body.

"What?"

"I cannot wait for our first family dinner. All of us together. You, me, Loki, Liv, Frig, and Frigga." I smiled.

"Oh, yes. I'm sure it shall be one of the most pleasant meals we've ever had." Thor nodded in agreement, his face scrunching up a bit as his head moved to look, though I quickly stopped him.

"What do you think Frig shall do when we get back to Asgard? Hm? Probably celebrate her savior of an uncle, that's for sure."

"I'm not certain about that. I for one think she'll latch on to you. Be glad you never have to leave her again."

"You're right there." I chuckled.

"Almost done, you two," Olivia reassured, making Thor try to look, though I once again stopped him.

"Look at that, over there." I pointed his face toward Loki, Gamora, and Nebula, who were now circling a beaten-up Thanos like vultures. "I think the final blow is coming."

We both watched as Gamora stabbed her blade threw Thanos' heart, Nebula through his skull, and Loki threw his kneck, each blow instantly killing the giant, sending him tumbling to the ground, dead.

"It is done." Liv gently stated, and I finally allowed Thor to look down at his arm.

I watched carefully as the god sat up fully, staring down at his dead arm, which was now laying limp on the ground, disconnected from the rest of his body.

"I am sorry, there was no way for me to heal it. It was better to... to cut off the dead limb."

Thor just sadly nodded in understanding as Bucky slowly walked up to us, placing his metal arm on the god's shoulder.

"Hey, if you're in the market for an arm, I know a gal." He lightly smiled, Avery walking up and standing next to the two.

"Yeah. Welcome to the cyborg club, big guy." She smiled, holding her hands out.

Thor carefully took her left hand with his right, using her for balance as she and Bucky helped him stand and allow him to get used to balancing with one arm.

"Don't worry, you get used to it pretty fast." Winter patted Thor's shoulder.

"Really?"

"No. Barnes is totally full of shit." Avery shook her head, the three sharing a true laugh.

"So, how's it feel, brother?" Loki walked up, throwing his arm around my waist.

"Like I have one arm." Thor weakly smiled. "But, we all did it. We defeated Thanos, and got everyone back. I'd say this is cause for celebration."

"You know, I think you're right, Sparkles." Tony clapped his hands together. "Everyone, Avery and I are hosting a cookout at our place! Tomorrow night. Be there or be square! Come on, hun. I wanna see my kids."

"Mm, I do too." I nodded, looking at Loki.

"Then let's go home, darling."
