"On your left."
Steve and I turned around, watching an orange portal grow, T'Challa, Shuri, and O'koya all stepped out of it and walked toward us. I laughed in relief as Sam flew through a moment later, circling us as dozens more portals opened up, each one revealing the Guardians, Wakandens, Asgardians, Soursers, Avengers, and more walked through.
Though my eyes only searched for one man.
I got distracted as a large rumble came from the wrecked compound, a humongous Scott rising out of the rubble, opening his right hand to reveal Bruce, Rhodey, and Rocket, all alive and well.
Steve and I turned back around, seeing a nervous-looking Thanos.
"You wanna call it?" I murmured as the two of us got into ready stances.
"Avengers..." Steve called out as Thor and Tony flew behind us, standing with everyone. "Assemble."
Thor and T'Challa let out battle cries as everyone charged, whether in the air or on the ground.
"It's great to see you again! I missed you!" I shouted over the sound of war to Shuri, who happened to be a few feet away.
"Me, or my tech?" She shouted back, and I could tell she was smirking.
"Is there a difference?"
"I saw your lover boy! He should be around here somewhere! Try to our right!"
"Thank you!" I yelled, instantly following the teen's direction and running, splitting apart any gross-looking alien that came in my way.
"Ya know, I've heard a lot about you from your girlfriend!" A Rocket's voice sounded around me, though I couldn't tell from where.
"Oh, yeah?"
"Yeah! You're not as good-looking as she painted you out to be!"
My eyes widened as I caught sight of Bucky, who was about to be attacked by a large alien coming at him from behind. I yelled as I tour the thing apart, gaining both men's attention as blood spilled everywhere.
"Oh, there you are. How much building fell on you?" Rocket casually asked, shooting an alien that started running at us.
"Couple hundred pounds of metal. Nothing I couldn't handle. You?" I huffed, my eyes never leaving the blue-gray beauties I had come to love.
"About the same. Rhodey got me out of that jam."
"That's good." I nodded, holding my hand out and bringing it behind me, throwing an incoming alien away.
"Oh my god, I missed you." I shook my head, quickly walking into Bucky's waiting arms.
"I would say the same Doll, but to me, I just saw you." He chuckled, his arms wrapped tightly around my back, making me wince. "Shit, are you okay? Did I squeeze too hard?" He pulled back with a panicked look on his face.
"Just got a small cut on my back. Doesn't feel great." I waved him off. "God. You are not allowed to leave my sight during this, okay? If I can't see you you've gone too far."
"Oliv, I'm not a child." Bucky playfully glared, shooting an alien behind me.
"Yeah but if I don't see you I'm gonna automatically assume the worst and have a panic attack and that's not gonna be good for anyone."
"Okay, doll, okay. I'll be right with you the whole time." He reassured me, placing his real hand on my cheek.
"Good." I nodded, leaning into his hand. "God, I love you, Jamie. You have no idea how much I've missed you these last five years."
"I love you too, Doll. I'm sorry I've been away that long."
"As great of a moment this is, can you two please get back to battle?" Rocket shouted, making me groan.
"But we were in the middle of something!" I yelled, eyeing an alien charging at us.
"Give us a moment!" I ripped the thing apart, making Bucky's eyes widen.
"I'm not gonna lie, Doll. That was kinda hot."
"Get a room!"
