It's been a week now, since what the news outlets are calling the Blip, and since I told the COO of Stark Industries to give me and the other workers a week before getting back to work, after all that has happened in the universe.

In that time, Olivia had called me with news that they had met a woman from space who said she would go out to search for Tony. I hadn't told the kids, because as much as I wanted it to be true that this mystery woman could find Tony, I didn't want to get our hopes up.

Morgan came with me when I went back to California so she could grab some of her things from Pepper's place. Harley came with too, but it was because he didn't want to be alone. Happy came too because, like he said last time, he wasn't about to leave Tony and Pepper's family defenseless.

"Ah, Ms. Lynn! Thank you so much for finally joining us." Danial Richardson snarked as I walked into Pepper's office.

"Cut it with the attitude. You're lucky I'm here at all." I glared, walking to Pepper's chair and having a seat. "Now, what's going on with all of this? What do I... what do I have to do?"

Richardson proceeded to spend the next four hours detailing exactly how the company's board of directors would put me on a probationary period to see how well I would do with the job, which would take about a month. Once that was over, if the board saw that I was doing a fair job at running the company, and if there was no new news of Tony, they would start the lengthy process of signing it all over to me, both as the owner of Stark Industries and as the CEO.

If the old bastards didn't think I was doing a good job running the show, then they would assign Richardson as the new Interim CEO until Morgan turned 21.

After dotting some I's and crossing some T's, it was finally over.

I was now in charge of Stark Industries.

Until Tony was found, at least.
