~Olivia~
It's been a couple of days since Thor brought me to Earth's Asgard, and since Loki's (kinda unwillingly) welcomed me into his home. During my stay, I've helped the prince and his mother take care of Frig, who I've made sure to keep away from my head at all times. Thor has been... depressed, about us not getting the stones from Thanos. He's kept himself holed up in one of the cottages with two of his alien friends.
"Oh, god. Was I really gone that long?"
I quickly turned around upon hearing the new accented voice, Frig held securely in my arms as I was trying to put her down for her afternoon nap. My eyes widened upon seeing a familiar silver-haired speedster lounging on the couch behind me, the front door creaking closed.
"Pietro." I breathed out, not daring to move a muscle. "What... where have you..."
"I was still traveling across Europe when people started disappearing. I had heard about Wanda and her toaster..."
"And suddenly you were in no hurry to make sure the rest of us were okay. To make sure I was okay?" I glared, turning to lay Frig in her crib.
"I knew you were okay, relatively speaking. Heard about Barnes. That his? I didn't think I was away long enough for you to have a secret kid."
"Pietro, we haven't seen each other in over two years." I crossed my arms. "But no, she's not mine. I'm just... doing a favor and watching over her."
"Two years? Time sure does-" The man moved from the couch to beside me in the blink of an eye. "Speed by."
"Wow. That was horrible." I cringed, moving past to sit on the now empty couch.
"Oh, come on! That one kills in Germany!" Pietro sighed upon seeing my unamused expression, coming to sit back beside me on the couch. "So why are you here in Norway?"
"No, me first. How did you find me?" I shot back.
"Well, when Olivia Stark is in town, people talk." He shrugged. "Now back to my question. What are you doing here?"
"I... I'm not entirely sure, to be honest. The team and I went to go find Thanos, see if we could get the stones to bring everyone back. We obviously weren't successful. When we got back to Earth, Thor grabbed me and brought me here. I don't think I've ever actually asked why."
"Hmm. Interesting, how you let the strange man take you to a strange place when you had just lost your beloved. I wonder what he would say."
"Hey." I snapped, using my powers to push Pietro off the couch, harshly landing on his butt. "First of all, Thor isn't some strange man I met at the bar. I've fought beside him in several different battles. I trust him. And if Bucky were here, he would understand that."
"Okay, scary lady, I'm sorry." Pietro frowned, rubbing his sour butt as he stood back up, hesitantly sitting back in the spot beside me. "So, what do you think you're going to do? Stay here?"
"No, I've got to go back to New York at some point. I think I'll hold off on it until I know I won't have a mental breakdown being back." I casually shrugged. "What about you? Are you going to go back to not answering my calls and running around the world?"
"No to the former, yes to the latter."
"Wow, I didn't know you knew what "former" and "latter" meant in that context."
"Hey!" The Sokovian yelled, making me chuckle. "Just for that maybe I should ghost you for another month."
"Oh, come on. I-"
"Lady Olivia, would you mind-" I looked behind Pietro, seeing a surprised Loki standing in the doorway.
"Loki, this is Pietro Maximoff. Wanda's twin. Pietro, Loki Odinson, King of Asgard, God of Mischief, father of Frig."
"Long title you have there." The Sokovian nodded.
"Yes. Stark, what is this... boy, doing here?"
"Apparently speedy was in the neighborhood." I shrugged. "Sorry, I would have told you if I knew he was coming, but he just showed up."
"My fault there."
"Well yeah, I wasn't saying it was mine."
A/n ~ I'm going to be completely honest most of the reason I wrote this chapter was so I could permanently remind myself that I saved him in AOU since I've never really done anything with that since then hahahaha
