Pain.
All I felt was pain.
In my abdomen.
In my legs.
In my arms.
In my head.
In my back.
It all hurt.
I'm a goddess who heals things, I'm not used to a thing like pain.
I'm supposed to heal at the drop of a hat, but I'm so tired.
Tiered from fighting my sister.
Tiered from putting a whole planet back together.
Tiered from healing my people from Thanos's attack.
Tiered from getting my wings brutally chopped off.
I'm just so, tired.
"Stop." Stephen's voice brought me back to reality, and I looked up, seeing Thanos standing above an injured Anthony, looking ready to use the gauntlet on my nephew. "Spare their lives, and I will give you the stone."
"Stephen," I mumbled, trying to get myself to do something.
"No tricks." Thanos looked to the sorcerer, who shook his head.
"Don't," Tony shouted as the titan turned the gauntlet to the doctor, who pulled a glowing green stone out of thin air.
"Stephen, don't do it." I pleaded as Thanos held his hand out.
The doctor didn't listen, though, and sent the stone right to the titan.
The man looked back at Tony and me before slowly placing the gem in the last knuckle placement, a surge of power seeming to shoot threw him at the new addition.
"One to go." He mumbled to himself, moving to protect his face as blasts shot at the gauntlet.
Peter Quill yelled as he flew towards Thanos, using both blasters to try and harm the titan in some way, to no avail. No, the man just created a portal behind him, walking right threw it and causing Peter to collide with the ground.
"Where is he?" Quill shouted, aimlessly pointing his blaster. "Did we just lose?"
"Why would you do that?" Tony panted, looking towards Stephen.
"We're in the endgame now."
That response from the doctor was such bull-
