~Olivia~

"You're girlfriends finally joined the party," I noted as Vision and I watched Wanda fly down in front of us.

"Are you guys okay?" She panted, quickly kneeling beside her toaster.

Vision looked to be about to answer when a high-pitched ringing sounded from his stone, causing him to double over in pain.

"What? What is it? Oliv, what's happening?"

"I- I don't know. This shouldn't be happening." I panicked a bit, taking hold of the man's head.

Vision panted as he took hold of my hands, gently pulling them away as he looked around us.

"He's here."

Wanda and I both exchanged worried looks as the wind picked up around us, my stomach sinking more than it did this morning.

"Everyone, on my position. We have incoming." I said threw the comms, and a moment later Steve, Natasha, Sam, Bruce, Okoye, and T'Challa came running threw.

"What the hell?" The blond mumbled as we all stilled in our spots.

A little while away, a black and blue portal opened up, and a giant purple man with a gold gauntlet stepped out of it.

Five stones were already in the gauntlet.

Wanda quickly stood, glowing orbs of red hovering in her palms, ready to attack.

"Cap." Bruce started. "That's him."

"Eyes up. Stay sharp. Oliv and Wanda, see what you can do about the stone!" Steve ordered, running straight for the titan.

"Alright, Vis. Let's see how well we can do this, huh?" I nervously chuckled, my hands moving up toward the stone. "This might hurt... a lot."

Without giving much warning, I quickly focused on both the separate mechanical and physical parts of Vision, trying to pull them away from the stone without killing him.

Vision yelled in pain as I worked, causing Wanda and I both to cringe, though the witch didn't try and stop me. The android did, however.

"Wanda." He panted, once again grabbing my hands, causing me to halt my work. "It's time."

"No, Vision, listen, I think I've almost got it, I just need another minute-"

"They can't stop him, Olivia, but we can." He looked up to his partner. "Look at me." Vision grabbed Wanda's hand, forcing her to turn around. "You have the power to destroy the stone."

"Don't."

"You must do it. Wanda, please." He begged, pulling the woman's hand up to his cheek as her lips wobbled. "We are out of time."

"I can't." She whispered, shaking her head.

"Yes, you can." Vision brought Wanda's hand in front of his face. "You can. If he gets the stone, half the universe dies. It's not fair. It shouldn't be you, but it is."

I stood as Wanda hesitated, placing my right arm around her unused left.

"It's okay." I quietly nodded. "I've got you both."

"It's all right. You could never hurt me." Vision told his lover. "I just feel you."

Slowly, Wanda let out a large blast of magic, aiming it at Vision. As her magic worked to destroy the stone, I did everything in my power to keep it from destroying Vision, with it. I grit my teeth together the longer we worked, glancing behind us upon hearing the sound of Steve yelling, seeing him standing with Thanos's gauntleted hand in his own.

"Wanda-" I gave the witch a panicked look after seeing the titan strike the Captain down, which was shared upon seeing the man march up to us.

"Together?" I staggered out, and she quickly nodded in agreement.

"Together."

Wanda and I quickly kept one hand directing our powers to Vision, while the other shot towards the purple giant. Thanos was then pushed away by Wanda's red magic, acting as a shield between him and us while I focused on the alien's feet, trying to keep him grounded to one spot and not get any closer.

Glancing back to Vision, I saw relief spread across his face as Wanda's contorted into anguish, the yellow stone in Vision's head shattering, creating a large blast of power.

The witch and I both fell back at the blast, our powers releasing Thanos from our grip and allowing him to walk closer to us.

"I understand, my child." He spoke to her as I tried to crawl to Vision, trying to see what happened to him when the stone broke. "Better than anyone."

"You could never." Wanda panted, and I glanced back to see the titan caressing her red hair.

"Today, I lost more than you can know. But now is no time to mourn. Now is to time at all."

Using one of the stones, Thanos created a green design around the gauntlet, moving his hand and seeming to make it so the stone never shattered.

"No!" The two of us yelled, and Thanos was quick to hit Wanda to the side.

Before I could do anything, the titan was quick to pick me up by my hair, holding me up to him while I struggled to break free.

"You're a Stark." He mumbled.

"How could you tell?"

"I can see the same determination in your eyes that's in his. It's a good family trait."

"You saw Tony?"

"Yes. He put up quite the fight. A shame, what I had to do to him. Just like it's a shame, what I have to do to you."

I yelled as Thanos threw me over his shoulder, my back harshly hitting a faraway tree before my head hit the ground.

With bleary eyes, I looked up, seeing Thanos hold Vision up by his neck, moving to rip the stone right out of his body. Once done, the madman tossed Vision's gray, lifeless body to the side, placing his stone into the last spot in the gauntlet.

He screamed as waves of different power coursed threw his veins, each stone causing strings of its light to decorate his skin. As Thanos lifted his covered hand, a large blast of lightning struck, sending the mad titan to the ground, picking up dirt as he slid backward.

Thanos was quick to get to his feet, aiming a large blat at Thor as he flew down from the sky. The blast never hit him, though, instead hitting what seemed to be a new version of his hammer, slicing right threw the blast of the gauntlet.

And slicing right into Thanos.

Thor touched down in front of the titan with a satisfied smile, grabbing the titan's head as both panted.

"I told you... you'd die for that." Thanos screamed in pain as Thor pushed the axe deeper into the giant.

Thanos started mumbling incoherently as I tried to get to my feet, but his words didn't resonate until he lifted his gauntleted hand.

"You should have gone for the head."
