~Liv~
Healing an entire planet was hard work.
It was even harder when I had to practically start from scratch.
What made it almost impossible, however, was trying to heal half of the surviving Asgardian population while they were massacred by whatever monster decided to attack their ship.
I would have gone to help if I could, but if I left Asgard would crumble beneath my wings, destroying any progress I was able to make in the span of a couple hours.
I had just about finished with the basic land structure of the planet when I felt something impale my chest, knocking the breath out of my lungs. Looking down, I saw nothing besides my clothing even touching me, meaning one of my people, one of my family, was dying.
"Heimdall."
His name slipped from my lips before I could even fully think of who was hurt, my body seeming to work faster than my mind. As fast as I could I established a connection between the two of us, quickly getting to work on keeping his internal organs useful even while the spear continued to be lodged in him.
I was lucky in that the weapon was not left in him, and I took the chance to repair everything that was damaged, using some extra magic to make it unnoticeable to anyone who wasn't looking.
I panted as I released my hold on the gatekeeper, having used so much of my power already on Asgard and her people in less than 24 hours.
Right before I could take a break, however, I felt a growing pressure on my neck, making my stomach drop.
This time, Loki was in danger.
A bit slower than I was able to do with Heimdall, I began to repair my youngest brother's neck, making sure that the proper bone had cracked before quickly repairing it, making it seem to his tormentor that he was properly dead.
Refusing to let them get hurt again, I used my sight abilities to find the two men, both laying on the ground unconscious while Thor sat strapped with scrap pieces of metal. When no one was looking, I put an illusion over both bodies, teleporting them away to the escape pods I saw out the window.
And that's when I properly noticed him.
Thanos.
