Ch 17 - the amusement park

LEO

Today was Saturday and we are going to the amusement park.
Adam was invited to go with us.
We got up this morning around 9 we got ready to go to the amusement park.
Soon there was a knock on the door.
It was Adam
"What's up!" I exclaimed
Adam laughs and comes inside
After taking his shoes off.
Everyone was ready to go.

Adam seems so uncomfortable with the appearance of Gabe
"What's wrong?" I say
"Nothing" Adam says
Gabe sighs he knew why Adam was uncomfortable.
We headed off to the amusement park.
We get there after after an hour.
"Holy crap.." I say looking at all the roller coasters and other rides.
"These places are full of germs.." Connor mumbles
"U never complain Connor" I said
Gabe started laughing.
"Yea mr germaphobe" he laughs
"I'm not as bad as I used to be" Connor sighs
"True" I say
We get our tickets.
"We should do this more often maybe come in the summer as there is a few water rides" I mention
"We will see" Connor says
"So does little Leo wanna ride his first roller coaster" Gabe said pointing to the main gate where a coaster went above.
"Uh sure" I say
"I love them" gave laughs
Connor didn't speak.
"I'm not a fan.." Connor says
"Quit being a baby we are going" Gabe says
"Fine.." Connor says
We get in line.
Connor was fidgeting like he didn't wanna go on.
We finally get up there. I sat with Adam and Connor and Gabe sat on the seat behind us.
They went around to make sure our over the shoulder restraints were secure.
My heart was pounding but I was excited.
We managed to get front row. I hope it gonna be fun.
The ride begin we climbed a steep hill. We get to the top and it begins going down
"Ahhh" Connor yells
I tell in excitement so does game and Adam i think Connor does not like roller coasters.
We get off and go to look at the pictures sit was quite funny.
We go around a few rides and grabbed some food.
Then we did a few more rides and then some games.
Connor won me and Adam a stuffed animal a pretty big one. I was so happy.
I squealed I'm excitement.
On the way out I stared at the sweets shop.
I look at Connor.
"Can we go in there?" I ask
Connor looks at the shop then at Gabe
"I guess.." he says we all went in.
It smells of cotton candy and fudge and chocolate galore.
"God.. did we really have to come in here.. so much sugar" gabe says
Then eyeball something.
He looked at some treats.
He snatches some up
"So u like candy?" I say and raised an eyebrow
"Sometimes.. I admit I like sugar free stuff" Gabe says

We laughed

We finally went home we got a few treats some fudge and a few cupcakes. Gabe would not let me get cotton candy. What a loser. I begged and begged but he said no.
We arrive at home half asleep we dropped off Adam. Then arrived at home.
I take my shoes off and stumbled half asleep in the house
"I'm going to bed.." I yawn and proceeded upstairs
"Make sure to brush your teeth!" Gabe exclaimed
"I know.." I mumble and proceed to the bathroom and brushed my teeth.
I finally flop down in bed.
Then I fell asleep.

It was a good day..
