Ch 24- I hate this

LEO

"No!" I yell
I would fly a punch right to his face. But I can't now I was being restrained.
"Can we try this again.. you can't go anywhere" Gabe laughs
I heard all the foul words and I was only 7.

"Fuck off" I say in defeat
Gabe went silent for a hot second
"Open up now" he says angrily.
Yep he's mad now. Now he is gonna hurt me.

I was panicking but I couldn't do anything but opened my mouth.
"Good boy..aha here it is" he says
Then touched it which it was super sensitive.
I bite down hitting the top of his finger
"Don't do that" he says
He continues
I open back up
He preps to fix the tooth.
I struggle more.
He fixes the tooth.
He stops for a split second.
"Why am I not numb!" I say
"You don't need to be, I'm almost done, your brother was alot braver" he says
I sigh
Soon he was done.
I was finally let loose
Then unlocked the door and ran out and jumped in Connors arms
"I hate him.." i say
"What did he do" Connor says
Gabe soon comes out.
He looked worn out.
"What did you do to my brother" Connor says still protecting me.
"What I had to do to fix his tooth" Gabe says.
"Did you restrain him?" Connor says
Gabe wouldn't talk
"Let's go" Connor says

We all left and went home. I would never trust Gabe again.
I went to my room and slammed it and hid under the covers.
Well he did make my tooth better though.

CONNOR

I sit on the couch. Putting on Netflix totally ignoring Gabe.

GABE

Now I feel bad everyone was upset at me.
But I had to do my job.
My phone went off.
It was my mom.
The phone call
"Hi honey" mom said
"Hi how are you" I say
"Dad is really sick" she says
"He has been out of my life,how he treated you and Randy" I say
"Well I was thinking as I'm going downhill too with depression and everything" she says
"What's wrong mom" I say
"I'm going to rehab because I've been doing stuff I shouldn't of" mom said
"Drugs??" I say now getting furious really scared for Randy
"Yea.. I want you to take Randy out of my Hands so I can get better it's really stressful on him" she explains
"When" I say
"Can you fly out tomorrow to get him" she says
"Of course mom I wanna see you too" I say
"Alrighty hun I love you" she says

I hang up

I put the Phone down and just was silent
I went in the other room.
"What was that phone call about" Connor asks eating some fruit snacks.
"My mom" I say
"What's the problem" Connor says
"She's on drugs" I say and sit down next to him
"Oh geez" Connor says
" then my dad is really sick, but I give zero shits about him" I say
"Your point" Connor says
"I'm flying out to get my little brother out of there" I say
"You have a brother" Connor said in a surprised way.
"Yea he's only 3" I say
"Oh god.. poor thing was he abused in any way" Connor asks
"I don't know" I say tears welling up in my eyes.
"You have to get him, good thing I have another spare bedroom" Connor says
"Yea I was thinking about that but I wasn't sure I was allowed to bring him in since it was your house" I say
"Of course he's is allowed" Connor says
"We'll I'm flying out tomorrow morning to get him" I say
"That's fine"Connor says

The night goes on.

I made dinner but Leo never made eye contact with me he was picking at his food.
"Uhh Leo.. I have a little brother" I say
"And your point?" Leo says

"Don't be a smart mouth Leo this is serious" Connor says
Leo looks up at me.
"What's wrong then"
"I'm flying home tomorrow morning" I say
"Soo your not coming back" Leo says with a saddened expression
"I'll be gone for a few days, but I'm bringing my brother home with me" I say
"Why" he says
"Because he is in trouble and my mom can't take care of him" I say

LEO

Gabe had a little brother I didn't know that. I have a mom but she wasn't that good to me.

"I'm sorry.. for being bad" I say
"Yea I'm sorry too" Gabe says

Later that night I went to bed, Gabe is flying out early to retrieve his little brother Randy.
Apparently he's younger then me.
I can't wait to meet him but nervous.
