Ch 26- exploring

LEO

Randy is the cutest little boy. I love him he feels like my brother.
I get ready for school it was Friday again.
I get on the bus and sat next to Adam
"Gabe has a little brother he's living with us now" I say
"Wait really how old?" Adam says
"3" I say
"Oh wow can I meet him eventually?" Adam asks
"Sure, we can hang out after school" I say

At school the day went smoothly, we had soccer practice it was the last day before spring break which was very exciting.
We get off the bus after practice. Adam let his mom know after he's hanging at my place.
We get to my house. We went in and took off our shoes.
"Hey!" I call
Gabe was sitting in the couch literally watching Bluey with Randy.
"Do u like Bluey" I say
I startled him a bit
"Oh I didn't hear you coming in" he says
Randy look me at me.
"Leo!" He says now running up to me and hugging me.
Adam looks at Gabe and smiles
"Is this Randy?" Adam asks
"Yep" Gabe says
"Hi Randy I'm Leo's friend" Adam says
"Hi Adam" he giggles
For Randy's age he talked pretty well.

Connor walks in.
"Hey Adam" Connor says

"Hi" Adam says

"Excited for spring break?" Gabe says

"Yea!" I exclaim

"So do we all want to go on a walk and show little Randy around" Connor suggests

"I'm sure he will love that" Gabe says and smiles and little Randy.
We all get ready to go outside. It was an overcast day.
We all went on a walk to the nearby park.

Me and Randy ran around playing. Laughing and were really happy.
Adam was running around to but fell on his knee.
"Ow" Adam says
It was starting to bleed.
"Jesus Christ.." Connor says running up to him.
I pulled Randy aside near Gabe.
Gabe Carried around a small bag with a first aid kit,water, some granola bars, and hand sanitizer.
"Get me the first aid kit" Connor says
Gabe threw it at him. Almost nailing him.
"Oops that would of not been good.." Gabe said
Randy still wanted to run around. I didn't want him to get in the way, I'm like becoming a brother to him.
Connor cleans up the wound and finishes and sanitized his hands
"Not as bad as I thought" he says getting up.
"Adam are you okay?" I say approaching him.
"Yea just my knee hurts a bit" Adam says and gets up
It gets more cloudy.
Then it starts to rain
"Really thank you!" Gabe yells at the sky
We leave and walk home.

We get back.
"Who wants homemade pizza" Connor suggests
"That sounds lovely" I say
"Yea! Pizza!" Randy exclaimed
Everyone smiles.

After dinner..
"Can Adam stay over?" I ask
"Is it alright with your mom?" Connor says
"Yea" adam says

Me and Adam went to my room and decided to play the Xbox. Gabe gets Randy ready for bed and puts him down to sleep.
Me and Adam were laughing and heard a knock
"Quiet down" Gabe says
"Fine.." I say and turn the game down.
I reach under my bed and grabbed a bag it had done sweets in it.
I handed Adam a pack of sour gummies.
"Does Gabe know" Adam says
"Nope" I say
We eventually fall asleep that night

The next morning Adam went home after breakfast.
I was lounging on the couch
Randy looks at me.
"Wanna play" he asks
"What you wanna play?" I ask
"Tag" he says
"No no no" Connor says
"Why?" I say
"Remember what happened last time" Connor says
"Yea.. so do you wanna play with some of my toys" I say getting up and going to the corner.

We got some Lincoln logs out and played with them.
We played that for awhile.
Luckily Randy was more comfortable with Gabe
Randy had been wiggling a tooth all day.

"Randy how long has your tooth been wiggly" gave asks
"A while" he says

Great he's gonna get his brother to go to the dentist and his brother is one.

"Have you ever seen a tooth doctor" Gabe asks

"What's a tooth doctor" Randy says
"They help take care of your teeth, do you take care of yours" Gabe says
"Yes" Randy says
I roll my eyes then get up.

"Can a tooth doctor look at your loose tooth" gave smiles
"No!" Randy shouts
Takes me and Connor by surprise.

"Oh okay.." Gabe's says looking down
Randy continues playing with the toys

I can tell Gabe wants to look at his tooth.
Connor looks at Gabe and shrugs

"I don't think Randy ever saw the tooth doctor I think he's scared" Connor says
"I know.." Gabe says still looking down with his hand on his head
"Umm Leo.. why don't you be a role model and show him it's not scary on Monday and let me give you a checkup" Gabe smiles at me.
