Ch 22- Unhappy

It was finally Monday, it was almost spring break and almost my birthday I will be 8 I am so excited.
I decided to get ready for school then headed downstairs.
Connor and Gabe were in the kitchen. "Hey bud" Connor says
" hi" I say
"You hungry?" Gabe says spooning oatmeal into 3 bowls and topped it with fresh apples and cinnamon.
"Sure! At least you didn't drop it this time" I say
Connor about spit out his tea and starts laughing.
Gabe can be embarrassing sometimes he does stupid stuff all the time.
"Okay.. we can forgot that.. please eat" Gabe said
I grab my bowl and begin eating
"Don't forget also I'm looking at that tooth today after school" Gabe tells me
Me and Connor look at each other as he eats his oatmeal
"Oww.." Connor mumbles rubbing his bruised knee
"You good?" Gabe says
"Yea I fell on my knee I'm fine though" Connor says nervously

Gabe raises his eyebrow at him
"Are you sure about that"

I slump down in my seat as Connor was about to get busted
"Well okay then..I did see you make a face while eating so yea something's wrong your up after Leo's appointment" Gabe said

"I'm fine! Quit assuming whenever i fall I bump my tooth or something" Connor says obviously annoyed

"Okay.. I got to get to school" I say getting up grabbing my bag and leaving for school. I just wanna get out of the conversation.

I get on the bus and sit next to Adam.
"You good?" He asks
"I'm finally gonna get my tooth fixed after school" I mumble
"Fun fun fun so that means we can't hang out after" Adam says
"Yea but we got all week and spring break is next week, and my birthday is Friday after all might go do something fun" I say
"Ooh that's cool" Adam says

We get to school.
I think I'm having a bad luck day I almost dropped my lunch all over almost forgot some stuff. I hope today gets better. Well that appointment is gonna suck. I might fight.
And Gabe knows.

After school come and Connor comes picks me up from school. "You ready?" He says obviously not in a good mood.
We get to the office check in and wait for Gabe.
Gabe comes out.
"Who wants to go first" he says motioning us both to the back
"Connor" I squeak
"Really?.." Connor says
"Alrighty take a seat then" he says as we get in the room.
I sit in the corner of the room.
Connor was shaking and sat in the dreaded chair.
"Connor what's wrong?" Gabe asks
Izzy walks in and smiles
"Hey Leo!"
"Hi" I say
"Nothing nothing just nerves" Connor whispers

He wanted to leave so bad. But he didn't wanna make him mad. Then Gabe will have a temper tantrum.
"Okie dokie let's get started" he says as Izzy places a bib on Connor
"I'm just gonna give you a checkup.. nothing to be scared of" gave says washing his hands applying gloves and mask then reclines the chair and Izzy positions the light.
"Open wide" gabe said

CONNOR

Why as I so uneasy right now. He is my best friend he only ever helps me.
I open up my mouth
He immediately spots the tooth.
"It's so small.. the crack" Gabe says
"A crack in my tooth?"I mumble
"Yep.. but it is a easy fix " he says as he takes the tools out. He starts preparing to fix the tooth.
