*Chesk's POV

Aaarrggghhh! Sakit ng ulo ko! Bakit ba kasi may pag-inom pa ako kagabi? Tsk.

Si Zach wala na sa tabi ko.

Anong oras na ba?

8:35am lang pala. o_O? Maghahanap pa nga pala ko ng trabaho ngayon! Hayst! Ano ba yan!?!

Nagmadali na akong pumasok sa banyo at ginawa ang dapat kanina ko pa tapos gawin. Hindi na pwedeng tatamad-tamad ako ngayon. Hay!

Paglabas ko ng banyo, narinig kong nag-ring yung phone ko.

Unregistered number calling. I picked it up and answered.

"Hello."

[Hello, good morning, Ms. Martinez? ]

"Yes ma'am, ako nga po, who's this?" sagot ko.

[Ma'am this is Mia from MSP Company. We have received your resumé and we would like to congratulate you for having the position. Please report today as early as you can, this will be the start of your training.]

"Talaga po? S-sige po pupunta na po ako diyan. Please give me an hour ma'am. Thank you very much for your call." I said teary-eyed. Kinuha pa rin nila ako despite the scene na ginawa ko kahapon. Siguro na-realize nilang wala naman akong kasalanan sa nangyari.

[Okay ma'am. Remind ko lang po, please wear a formal dress po. Hindi po kasi allowed ang slacks for women.]

"Alright ma'am, no problem. Thanks again." and she hanged up.

"Yes!" I shouted in joy! This will be a new start for me and my baby.

"Zach!" I called him.

He kissed me and asked, "Bakit nakaligo ka na Mommy? Aren't you going to eat first before leaving?"

"Baby, Mommy's going to work today! Natanggap na ako!"

"Talaga Mom? That's great! I knew you can do it." He said then hugged me. "Don't worry about me. I'll be okay with Nanay here."

"Aahh... You're really a grown up now. Parang kailan lang pinapalitan pa kita ng diaper..."

"Mom! Papasok ka ba sa trabaho or magde-daydream ka na naman tungkol sa pee and diapers ko?" Ahaha, naiinis na siya. Short-tempered din ang baby ko.

"O siya, magbibihis na ako. You go to Nanay and eat your breakfast."

"I'm done Mommy. You're the one who should eat." Sinabi ko bang parang mas matanda pa siya sa'kin mag-isip?

"Nah, baby, Mommy's going to be late pag kumain pa ko. I'll just have my coffee, meron na ko dito. You go now and play. I'll fix myself pa."

"Aight Mommy. I'll check if you look good afterwards." and he ran out.

Natawa na lang ako. Hmmmn... Alin ba isusuot ko? First impression lasts, kaya kailangan isuot ko yung best dress ko. Hmmmn, aha! Eto na lang...

It's just a yellow blouse na may raffles, tacked in a black two-inch-above-the-knee skirt, matched with a black six-inch-high-heeled shoes and a black sling bag.

As for the makeups? Light blush on lang and red lipstick to make me look like alive. I just curled my eyelashes but hindi na ko naglagay ng shadows. I want it clean.

I wore a simple diamond-like earrings and a silver watch to complement.

I think it's enough. No, scratch that, 'tis more than enough. I walked outside my room and headed towards Zach. He stared at me for about a minute, I guess, then say, "Wow Mommy, you really looked like a Goddess." Ahuh! Di marunong magsinungaling ang mga bata.
