*Chesk's POV

"Surprised?"

Hindi!!!

Of all people, bakit siya pa? Ano na naman ba'ng nagawa ko at pinaparusahan ako. Ang conceited na lalaking to, siya pa ang boss ko!?! Aaaarrgggghh! Jeez...

"I-ikaw!?! I-ikaw ang boss ko?"

"I guess so?" He stood up and work towards me, closer and closer. "Aren't you glad that you'll be working for me? That only means na you've been given a once in a lifetime chance to meet me everyday. Every. Day." he smirked and sat back on his chair.

"W-What do you mean everyday? As far as I know, Mondays thru Fridays lang ang office days. Saka I am not working for you Mister. I applied here to work for this company." Matapang kong sagot nang makabawi ako mula sa pagkagulat.

"Well for you to know, my family owns 50% of this company. Kaya whatever your doing for this, you're doing it for my sake. And as for your working days, you've signed a contract stating that you'll be working for ME as MY Personal Assistant and Executive Staff for seven days a week. Be it in here, or outside the office." o_o? Anong sinasabi niya? Wala naman akong nabasang...

"Here, a photocopy of the contract that you've signed. I can't believe na basta ka na lang pumirma nang hindi mo naiintindihan ang consequences, Ms. Martinez." Kinuha ko ang papel at binasa iyon. Hindi iyon ang papel na binasa ko kanina. Hindi kaya...

Naisahan ako ni Ms. Odessa. At kasabwat siya ng lalaking ito? Para ano? Para pahirapan ako?

"No. I'm not accepting this." Ibinagsak ko sa mesa yung papel. "I'm leaving." I was about to move around when he laugh.

"So you're disobeying your boss now? C'mon sweety, you can't just leave like that! I got your papers here. One year contract ito. So if your monthly wage is P25,000, times 12 months, you have a total of P300,000 wage for a year. Wow, that's pretty big. And ayon dito sa pinirmahan mo, times three kapag nag-breach ka ng kontrata. So you owe me P900,000 all in all! Do you have that huge amount to pay now, lady?" Argh! This is wrong.

I face him again. Why do I have this feeling that this doesn't end with this? I sighed and said,

"Fine! I'll work in here as long as it's a part of my job description. No way if it's beyond."

"Okay then, proceed to your workplace now." And he smiled widely. Mukha siyang demonyo na naisahan ang isang anghel. Grrrrrr!!!

I stepped before the door when he spoke, "Your table is behind you. You may sit now." Napatanga na naman ako.

Seriously? Magkasama pa kami dito sa opisina niya? oh, God!!! Why???!?

*Jake's POV

Haha! Wala siyang nagawa kundi pumunta sa mesang inasayn ko sa kanya. Her face was priceless! ^_^

I dialed the intercom. "Mike, please give Ms. Martinez all the notes that she need to be aware of. Yes, please." I hanged up and look at her. She's cleaning her desk. Tss, malinis na naman yun kanina pa ah. Ipinahanda ko na lahat para sa kaniya.

*FLASHBACK

I came to office early. Maaga akong nagising eh. Ewan ko ba, parang may nagsabing magiging maganda ang araw na to!

Everybody greeted me, "Good morning sir!" Medyo nagulat pa sila. What's wrong with my face? Kailangan ko na yata bumisita kay doktora mamaya.

Mike approached me pagkakita niya sa 'kin. Nagtaka pa siya at napangiti after a while. Dinedma ko na lang. Kung minsan hindi ko maintindihan ang takbo ng utak nito eh. Laging masaya. Tss.
