━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

they pass hundreds
of bills against us, and
still we fight to exist

they want to get rid of me
but i'm not going anywhere
we're not going anywhere
and we're not fighting alone

they splash rainbows on the windows
like that fixes everything
like it's suddenly okay
but still, nothing changes
still, this war on humanity wages

we're viewed as lesser
but we are more than they will ever be
strength in numbers, can't you see?

their hate burns love to the ground
all anger that was lost can be found
it all comes, goes, comes back around

from you to me, fire and empathy
burning the same candle
from you to me, hate and jealousy
tinging the scent of the air

we will keep on fighting
you can never keep us down
we have always been here
and we'll always be around
