"WE'RE NOT GOING to just waltz back in there because you say so," Lila said, as Luther and Solane walked into the room, all giddy.
"Good, because you're going with us," Luther budded into the conversation as he pointed toward Lila.
The group turned to look at the two who stood at the door, "This should be interesting. Where to?" Five questioned his brother with a sigh.
"Sparrow Academy," Solane answered, her arms wrapped around Luther's.
Phoenix felt a tinge of bitterness rise in her throat— she didn't want to go back there. She could feel her heart rate speed up, and panic taking over her body.
She felt weak, and she hated that. She wanted to be in control of the situation.
"Wait- why?" you could almost hear the fear in the girl's voice, as she furrowed her eyebrows at the two.
"The world's ending, so I think it's time we put our petty bullshit aside, and work together on this Kugleblitz," Luther said, nodding to his words.
"Yeah? Or what?" Diego questioned, as Five began to walk off, following Luther and Solane out without any questions.
Phoenix began to follow, and Lila whispered something about Stanley to Diego, and they began to follow behind. Phoenix silently walked behind everyone with Five by her side.
She wanted to snap and scream at the Sparrows, but she was trying to control everything. The group of six walked through the city, almost arriving at the academy.
"What's wrong with you?" Five asked not looking at the girl, keeping his eyes ahead of him— pulling her out of thought.
"Nothing." Phoenix muttered, turning her head to look at Five, then glanced away when he didn't look back at her.
"Okay then." he responded in a passive-aggressive tone, with an irritated sigh at her stubbornness.
Phoenix rolled her eyes, "Why are you such a dick?" she scoffed at his tone.
Five furrowed his eyebrows and turned to look at the girl walking beside him, "What do you mean?" he asked in a low angry tone.
