『 crime scene 』
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
"OKAY. BEN IS an asshole. I'll give you that." Delores said as she stood with the group that no longer made her sick, since she remembered them, "But a mass murderer?"
The group all stood at the crime scene at some random barn, while bodies that were torn apart were lying everywhere.
Lila looked down, and began to walk forward, looking down at the mushed-up bodies, "Turned everyone into haggis, Phoenix." she looked over her eyes at smirked at Delores.
Also that. Everyone called her Phoenix again— and she was fine with it, but she had lived this life as Delores.
She felt more Delores. Phoenix was some girl thrown into the wrong hands. But Delores came naturally— not something made up by a man who tortured her.
Lila then leaned over and grabbed onto one of the body's hands, and lifted it, and Delores grimaced at the action.
She lifted the arm, that had a tattoo inked onto the wrist, but it was an upside-down broken umbrella, "And they have terrible taste in tattoos."
"Some next-level psycho shit," Diego muttered, as he looked around.
"This could've been a rescue mission," Viktor said, and Delores looked over at him with a shrug.
"More likely a massacre by two individuals who are growing increasingly violent by the minute," Reginald said in a knowing tone.
"You don't know that." Viktor quickly said.
Five approached the group and Delores smiled at him, tearing her eyes away from anything or anyone else. Five sent her a quick smile before it disappeared and he stopped to explain the mess they were in.
"Alright, so my guys tell me that this whole farm actually belongs to those two lunatics who ambushed us at New Grumpson." Five explained, "Gene and Jean Thibedeau."
Allison leaned over and picked up a stick, and began to poke at the bodies on the ground.
"Well, maybe Ben killed them too." Luther theorized, and Delores nodded at his words.
"Well," Five sighed, "forensics found fresh tracks leading out of the barn. So, my guess is they escaped," he said, looking over at the large barn.
"Well, they couldn't have gotten far." Allison said, still crouched and poking at the body, "Based on the signs of rigor, I'd say time of death was six- maybe seven hours ago."
Everyone stared at her with confusion, not understanding her knowledge of the crime scene.
"How do you know that?" Diego asked skeptically, as he crossed his arms over his chest.
Allison stood up, dropping the stick, and crossing her arms over her chest also, "Wichita, PD. Thursday nights at nine-eight central."
There was a beat of silence before Reginald then stepped away, "Ready the car." Viktor quickly followed the man.
Allison sighed, "I gotta make a call." she began to walk off.
Five began to walk off, and Delores looked around, before quickly following behind him.
Delores leaned over, "I know you're thinking it." she said, stuffing her hands in her pockets as she tried to copy his stride.
Five looked over at her and furrowed his eyebrows, as they stopped next to a large fallen-over truck, "What?"
"The train." Delores said in a 'duh' tone, "We could travel back." she said, "Maybe we could stop this all somehow."
Five thought for a moment, "I'm not sure." he said, and Delores sighed.
"Yeah, that shit freaks me out too." Delores pointed at him, "But, we could try and travel back to the original 'Jennifer Incident'. We could stop Umbrella Ben from ever interacting with her." she explained and put her hand back into her pocket.
"I'm not sure if you remember, since you just got your memories back," Five tilted his head, "but last time we went out on the train we almost got our head blown off," he said, and Delores rolled her eyes.
"Plus, it would never work without a briefcase." Five said, and Delores sighed, nodding.
"Yeah." Delores ran a hand through her hair, "But the rules are different now. I dunno, maybe we don't need a briefcase." she said, and looked around at the CSI that walked around.
Five furrowed her eyebrows, thinking about her words.
"I just feel like this subway has to do with something. Why would we be blinking there if it had no purpose?" she asked, moving some hair away from her face.
Five stared in the distance for a moment before giving in, nodding, "Alright." he looked over at her, "But the first sign of trouble, we're coming back."
Delores nodded, "Agreed." she clicked her tongue, "I don't want to be caught there longer than we need to anyway. It just might be worth it to give it a shot." she said, and Five nodded.
"Diego is going to snoop around about this, I better handle it." Five sighed, and Delores smiled.
"Alright." she nodded, and clicked her tongue, "Let me know when you wanna leave," Delores said, and scanned his face.
