FIVE AND DELORES sitting on the blue plastic seats, as Lila was exploring the different cars of the subway again.
"I don't understand why you got so sick over being somewhere you had never been before." Five muttered, his hand on her knee, as he was facing her to the best of his ability— since they were sat next to each other.
Delores's sighed, and shrugged, "I'm not sure either." she looked around the subway they were in— a foreign dread pooling in her stomach at the sight of the train.
They both thought it.
It was a joke at first. Delores being mannequin Delores.
They both had the same lingering thought, but neither of them said it aloud— it was too much of an extreme thought. It was too serious.
Neither of them wanted to admit it.
The subway chimed, and the two looked up at the speakers that began to speak in the backward tongue.
Delores immediately pulled herself up, and Lila rushed into the train they were on. Five sighed, got up from his seat, and stood next to Delores.
The two waited by the doors, as Lila bounced to Delores's side, before muttering close to her ear, "I swear, if you two were shagging off while I was away, I will seriously throw up." she said loud enough for Five to hear.
The two looked at her with an annoyed look, before scoffing at her words, as the subway slowed, and slowly began to come to a stop.
The train stopped, and the voice spoke again, as the doors slid open.
Delores immediately stepped out of the train which made her feel like she was being suffocated. Lila and Five immediately followed as they made their way to the stairs up to the area where they had arrived.
She seriously wanted to be back in her timeline— feeling so far from home in this station.
Once they made it to the top of the cement stairs, Delores quickly grabbed onto the two's hands.
"Take us away Peter Pan!" Lila said with determination, and Delores let out a small laugh.
"Actually, you take us away." Delores said, "I can't do anything unless I sneeze."
