DÉJÀ VU IS an occurrence where you feel as if you have already experienced the present situation.
What they call that occurrence now is; 'The Umbrella Effect'.
Over the past six years, there has been an extreme amount of people who have experienced The Umbrella Effect.
People claim to have experienced things in past lives— or timelines— while also, being able to prove their physiological issues with random artifacts from different timelines.
Delores has been experiencing this phenomenon also. She has been having vivid dreams, while during the day she has extreme déjà vu.
Sometimes Delores will walk by the Obsidian Memorial Park, and have a sense of familiarity so bad, that she feels nauseous.
Her mother, Beatrice, says she's just fit to be a psychic, and that she just is sensitive to past lives.
Delores doesn't know if she's joking when she says that or not.
It's small things that set the phenomenon off.
Like taking a walk, being at work, smoking cigarettes out her window to hide her addiction from her mother, looking at mannequins, driving past Hargreeves enterprise, talking to her best friend Ash, speaking in French to her mother, writing in her journal, when she wears heels, being at weddings, if she gets a cut on her face, when she used to wear a uniform for school, and sometimes when she's eating cereal.
It's just all the little things.
Allof these little things set off the déjà vu setting in her brain.
Her mother also calls her an 'old soul'.
Delores doesn't really know what that means, because she's always been this way... right?
