THEY WERE BOTH pulled into a large blue portal, shifting them through a foreign time. Delores's head spun, as they were thrown into a hallway.

Five looked around, and Delores moved her hand from Five's to rub her eyes, as she blinked quickly— regaining her vision.

"Did it work?" Delores asked, dropping her hands from her face as she looked around the familiar hallway.

Five began to walk forward towards a small console table in the hallway, and Delores followed, "Are we here?" she asked another question, unsure if they fucked up time again.

Delores looked over Five's shoulder, seeing a newspaper in his hands, "October fourteenth, two-thousand and six." Five said, lifting it a bit so she could see it better.

"So, we're spot on?" Delores asked, and Five looked over at her.

"Yeah." Five said, tossing the newspaper onto the table it had sat on previously.

"Okay, so- um, cool." Delores nodded, as she began to walk down the hallway, and Five followed her pace putting his hand on her upper back, cautiously looking around as they walked.

"So, we go in, tell him not to go or whatever, and will be back before dinner," Delores said, as she looked around the academy that was spotless.

"Sort of." Five nodded, "We're just diverting him. Making sure he doesn't go on the Moldova mission." he explained, looking around the academy.

"Now- like, I haven't seen him in like, five years." Five looked down another hall that they passed, then back over to Delores, "So he might be a little jumpy. Just play it cool."

Delores looked over at him, "Who have you been around? You sound like a brainwashed slang teenager saying 'like' repeatedly." she looked at him with an eyebrow raised.

"I've been around you. Before you had your memories." Five said smartly, and Delores gently punched him in the shoulder.

"Put some respect on my name. I did not sound like that." Delores said, but the conversation was cut short, as a loud klaxon began to blare.

"Oh, shit!" the two whispered in unison, and Five immediately pulled Delores down a different hallway.

The two peeked their head around the corner, as Reginald's voice echoed through the house, along with his footsteps.
