Chapter 2

Sadie's POV
First thing I did when I woke up the next morning was call Sophie. Her phone rang 4 times before my sleepy best friend answered.

" What? " Sophie said in a raspy voice.

" Oh well hello to you too " I said jokely.

" What? " Sophie repeated, obviously really tired.

" What do you mean by " what "? "

" I mean...it's 6:45 and it's a saturday there must be an important reason why you're calling "

" Well yeah it is important "

" And.....? "

" What happened with you and Dave? "

" Ugh that? It's nothing "

" It doesn't sound like nothing "

" We didn't break up that's all that matters now let me sleep, buh bye "

" Hold it! It does matter. Why are you guys mad at each other? "

" Ugh it's just Dave thinks I hardley talk to him anymore. Aparently I never see him, text him, or call him "

" And do you? "

" Uhh...sometimes "

" Sometimes?! Why?!? "

" I'm busy. I have been really busy these past few weeks because of my cousin's wedding "

" And does Dave know that? "

" Probably not..... "

" Well tell him! "

" No "

" Why? What now? "

" He says it looks like I flirt a lot with other guys "

" Well to be completely honest....it sorta does....I know your not trying too but sometimes you sound a little too sweet and it may or may not come off as flirting "

" And no one told me this why?? "

" Uh I don't know "

" Well should I talk to Dave? "

" Let Leo talk to him first and then you talk to him "

" Okay thanks, bye goodnight slash morning " and with that Sophie cut the call.

Might as well try to fall back asleep. I put my phone down on my bed and pulled the blanket up the my chin. The warmth felt so nice. It didn't make me sweat but it gave off a nice warm feeling. My heavey eye lids closed and I drifted off into a deep sleep.

In my dream I was on top of a moutain, in Leo's arms. There were tears running down his face. The next thing I knew I was falling off the mountain into nothing but darkness. It felt like I was falling forever. I crashed into what seemed like an ocean. Slowly I drowned to the bottom. " I'm sorry Sadie " I heard Leo say.

My eyes shot open. My phone was ringing. It was from Leo. I tried to steady my breathing then pressed answer.

" He-hello? " Damn I studdered and I was breathing heavily.

" Hey. Are you okay? " Leo asked.

" Uh ya-yeah I'm fine "

" Are you sure? "

" Yeah, just a bad dream that's all "

" Oh, wanna talk about it? "

" No it's fine.....so what's up? "
