Sophie's POV
" W-we broke up..... "

Percy bit his lip and looked down. I looked a deep breath and wiped away my tears with the back of my head.

" Y-you cheated on m-me... " I studdered, looking at the ground. My heart stung.

" Leo do you mind? " Percy said looking at the stairs.

Leo raised an eyebrow but then seemed to get it.
" Ohhh uh right, sorry " he grabbed his blanket and pillow and lazily walked up the stairs.

" Sophie please let me explain " Percy pleaded looking into my eyes.

" I'm waiting. Explain " I sighed.

" Tha-that girl last night....she was my ex. I was at the store a few days ago and she just came up and kissed me. I didn't kiss back or anything. She told me she missed me and she wanted me back but I told her to screw off. So then last night I guess she got really drunk and she said I was her boyfriend.... I don't have any feelings towards her Soph I swear I only like you. No one else. " Percy explained.

" Did she kiss you last night? " I asked fiddleing with my fingers.

" No... "

" Percy don't lie to me.......please "

" Okay fine yes....but she kissed me first and I pushed her away instantly "

" Why didn't you tell me she kissed you at the store? " I asked, trying to keep my voice steady.

" I.....I didn't want to hurt you "

" I don't make you happy do I? "

Percy looked taken back. His mouth hung open and his eyes were wide. I chewed on my bottom lip avoiding eye contact.

" What are you taking about Soph?! You make me undescribely happy! "

" When we first started dating.....you seemed happy. You had this cute sparkle in your eyes. But lately it's gone. You seen so distant....I feel like you don't love me anymo- " I burst into tears.

Percy violently shook his head and rushed to my side. " Sophie none of that is true! I love you so so much more than anything in the world! I-I'm just not good at showing it.... "

Was everything he was saying true? I can tell when Percy is lying it's so obvious. It seemed like he wasn't lying.

" Sophie I'm so sorry if I haven't been a good boyfriend. I am so so extremely sorry! Like I don't even know I was just being stu- "

" Perc- "

" Sophie I'm so so sorry! "

" Percy it's- "

" You don't understand how horrible I feel! I am extremely sorry! "

" Percy let me tal- "

" I'm sorr- "

I was sick of being cut off and I needed Percy to shut up so I can talk. I did the first thing that came to my mind. I leaned in and gave him a quick kiss. He blankly stared at me. I took this as a chance to talk.

" Percy it's okay. Don't worry I believe you! I guess I just over reacted since I wasn't even paying attention properly. When you took care of me last night......that was incredibly sweet of you. Can you just promise me one thing? " I asked holding his hand.

" What is it? " he asked looking deep in my eyes.

" If.....if you ever get sick of me.....if you don't have feelings for me....if I don't make you happy....or anything like that please tell me. I want you to be happy. And if not being together makes you happy then well..... "
