Chapter 30

Sadie's POV
I buttoned up my coat. Tightened my scarf. Put my gloves. And pulled on my boots. Today I would be going to war.......a snowball war that is!
I ran out of my house and to the feild. There was snow EVERYWHERE. It was so deep it reached up to my knee if I stepped all the way through. I saw my friends, Leo, Percy, Justin, Zack, Luke, Maya, Jade, Sasha, Alison, Sophie, and Ed all building forts.

" Hi!!! " I exclaimed doing a cartwheel. I was really pumped up.

" Hey " they all said in unison. Oh wow that was creepy.

" You losers are going down " I smirked.

" Like hell I'm going down. I'm gonna win this Cupid " Ed said.

" You may be my best friend and all Sadie but I'm gonna kick your a** " Sophie said in triumph.

" Sadie......you're going down " Leo smirked and whiped a snow ball at me.

I ducked to the side. I quickly started building a wall out of snow.

" That's not fair Hernandez! I didn't even have a fort yet! " I hissed.

" Not my fault you were late "

" I'm still gonna kick your butt! "

" I'd like too see you try! "

" OH YOU WANNA GO?! " I exclaimed standing up and making a snowball.

" You're on " Leo smirked.

I whipped my snowball at him, he moved to the side and threw one at me. I caught it with one hand and sent it flying back. Leo swatted it down and quickly threw another one at me. I threw one too and our snowballs crashed in mid air. I guess Leo and I had the same plan we both rapidly threw snowballs at each other. The others were watching anxiously. Leo was obviously faster than me and he has faster reflexs so I think we all knew who one.

ME! THAT'S WHO! I threw a snowball right at his face while he was grabbing some snow. I threw a snowball on the ground and burst out laughing.

" HA I WON SUCKERRRRR " I exclaimed triumphantly.

Without me noticing Leo threw a snowball straight at my face. I blinked a few times trying to get snow out of my eyes. I whiped the snow off my face and glared at Leo. My fort was done so now we could start.

" I'm ready let's start! " I announced.

" The rules are simple.....if it skims the ground and touches your foot it doesn't count but anywhere else it counts got it? And it's elemination if you get hit you're out. Now....game on " Ed explained with a smirk.

Everyone get down low behind their forts and glared at each other. When I made eye contact with Leo I smirked and stuck my tongue out. Percy being the impatient person he is was the first to attack.

He threw a snowball at Luke. Luke threw one back and the two hit in the center. Percy cursed loudly which made Sophie shake her head and she threw a snowball at Percy. He wasn't paying attention and it barley missed him. Percy's jaw dropped.

" SOPH?! I THOUGHT YOU WERE ON MY SIDE?! " Percy gawked at Sophie.

" Percy this is a snowball fight we're all on our own. There are no sides " Sophie said innocently.

" OH I SEE HOW IT IS "

" Percy you're going to get hit if you keep standing "

" I know that " Percy said his face like.... -.-

I saw Ali looking at her nails and took this as a chance to get her out. I sneakily made a snowball and sent it her way. She swatted it down with out even looking.
