Chapter 8

Sadie's POV
That morning I woke up really early. It was 5:45 and the sun rose a few minutes ago. I wanted to see if I could find Ed so I would thank him once more before I leave. Who knows if I'll ever see him again.

No one was awake yet in the house so I quietly got dressed, wrote a note, and headed out. I said on the note that I would be back in about an hour and a half.

I walked on the beach hoping to find a certain black haired teen. Maybe he's in the forest. Should I have brought Leo along? Nah. I walked down the stone path. I think I'll find him around the cave. Maybe if I pretend to drown he'll come. Wait what the heck am I even thinking?!? I'm not gonna pretend to drown!

" Ed....Ed! " I called, hoping he would some how magically hear it.

" Edward! " I called again. I rolled my eyes at my stupidity.

I continued on towards the cave. I was walking surprisingly fast considering I was dead tired. I was about to call out his name again when I got to river, and I saw a familier jet black haired boy sitting on the other side. I smiled. He waved in a single quick motion. I basically skipped across the river and sat down beside him.

" What do you want? " he asked in his cold voice.

" Not even a hello? I came all the way here to try to find you okay? " I snapped.

" It was your choice to come I never told you too "

" Ya mind not giving me so much additude? "

" Why are you here? "

" Ugh you're impossible....I'm here because well I wanted to thank you one more time and I wanted to tell you that I'm leaving today "

" Stop thanking me. And I dont really care "

" Stop being so cold "

" I'm not being cold "

" Stop being stupid "

" Shut up "

" Okay okay I was just joking. "

" Don't you have a boyfriend you should get back to? "

" Wha-how how did you know I have a boyfriend? "

" Well how could you not? " he said. I blushed a bit.

" You're what most guys are into these days " he said.

" And that is.....? "

" You're stupid, loud, way too cheerful and happy, and you always have a stupid smile on your face " he stated not even looking at me.

Why the heck is he being so rude. I didn't even do anything to him!

" What the hel- "

" But you're also funny and nice I guess " he interupted me. Hey at least he complimented me, sorta.

" Uh thanks I guess....well I'll see ya around if I ever come back. Bye " I said then stood up. He didn't even respond.

I walked down the path and turned around to see if Ed was still there. He wasn't! That's so weird! Then i felt a tap on my shoulder which made me jump. It was Ed! How the hell did he move so fast?!

" O-oh hi " I said, surprised. Ed started to walk and I catched up to him.

" Don't walk so fast " I said.

" You walk too slow " he said flatly. I started to run.

" Now who's the slow one? " I mocked. In less then a second he was running infront of me.

" Still you " he said with a smirk. I scowled. Now it's on.

I raced him to see who could get to the beach first. Ugh of course Ed won. Me being the complete clumsy idiot I am tripped and fell......on top of Ed.....

I felt my face heat up. Ugh I'm such an idiot! For some reason my body just wouldn't move! It was frozen! I was an inch away from Ed's face.

" Uh you mind getting off? " he said quietly. WAIT WHAT?! DID HE JUST TALK WITHOUT HIS NORMAL COLD TONE?! IT'S A MIRACLE.

" Duh um sorry I'm so clusmy!!! " I said as I got up. I offered him my hand to help him up but he refused, of course.

My biggest concern was if Leo saw! He might get the wrong idea. I don't like Ed that way. I like him as a friend nothing more.

" Well I'll go. Bye! Hopefully we see each other around! " I said then ran towards the beach house.

As soon as I was about to knock on the door I was pulled to the side by an angry looking Sophie. Oh god.

" What was that?!? " she exclaimed.

" Sophie trust me it's not what it looks like! I wanted to go thank him once more for saving me and then so I went to talk to him. And on the way back he kept calling me slow so I raced him but then me being the clusmy idiot I am I tripped and accidently fell on him " I said in one breath. Sophie softened up a bit.

" Oh okay. I thought you kissed him or something " she laughed.

" Never! He's really cold most of the time. Plus I love Leo remember??? " I said. Sophie nodded.

We went back up to our rooms. It was only 6:50 so I decided to sleep a bit since everything was packed up. What I didn't know was that when I wake up I would be attacked........

" Sadie get up we're leaving " Leo said gently.

" In a bit " I whined.

" Sadie come on get up please "

" Gimme a few minutes "

" You leave me no choice " Leo said. What does he mean?

Next I knew I was being attacked! I couldn't stop laughing! Leo was tickling me! I gasped for air because I was laughing so much.

" L-Leo st.....stop!!!! Hahahhahaha " I counldn't stop laughing. Now Leo was laughing because I was tickling him too!

" Sadie st-stop! I'll.......stop....i-if...you st-op! " Leo exclaimed through laughter. I agreed then stopped tickling him. We both sat on my bed clentching our sides which ached from laughing so much.

" I never knew you were so ticklish " I teased.

" I'm not " he denied.

" Mhmmmm sureeee " I said with an evil smirk. Leo gulped. He tossled my hair. I pouted.

After we said bye to Justin and Jade we hit the road. The car ride back was nice. It was very peaceful I liked it! One thought kept making it's way into my mind....am I ever going to Ed again?

Hiiii! Wow I'm publishing a lot of chapters :) I liked this chapter a lot idk why though. I really ship Sadie and Ed LOL but still book is called SEO which is Sadie and Leo.
