Chapter 18

Sadie's POV
" Do you think Leo is cheating on Sadie? " I heard a girl from the table beside ours whisper.

Leo? Cheating on me? He would never do that......would he? I turned around and saw Leo talking to Amara, she looked a little upset.

During Math Bella and I were partners. We made up over the summer but we aren't as close.

" Hey Sadie.... " Bella started.

" Yeah? " I looked at her.

" Did you and Leo break up? "

" N-no...not yet....why? "

" Oh it's nothing....it just looks like it since he's always with Amara "

" Oh "

" Do you think he's cheating on you? " she asked slowly. There it is again.....

" I don't know....Leo wouldn't do that...he would break up with me if he had feelings for someone else " I blurted out.

After school I went to get some ice cream with Sophie and Percy. I was quiet the whole walk which was really unatural for me. I walked behind Sophie and Percy.

Leo would never cheat. I know he is always with Amara, but that's because they are friends...really close friends. But that doesn't mean anything. Leo isn't like that. Sure he was a player in middle school but that was before. He changed. He isn't that guy who used to screw around with girls feelings. Or is he? No I'm sure he isn't.

" Sadie are you okay? " Sophie's voice brought me back to reality.

" Yeah I'm fine " I lied.

" So what flavour do you want "

" Mint chocolate chip "

" Okay, Sadie you're paying "

" Wait what?! Oh hell naweee I'm broke! "

" I'm joking! "

" You're such a skeeze "

" What even is a skeeze? " Sophie asked. I shurgged with a cheeky smile. Percy took out his wallet and payed for the ice cream.

As we were walking to the park I kept thinking about Leo. I didn't even take a bite out of my ice cream and it had already been 5 minutes since we got them.

" Sadie you usually finish your ice cream in 2 minutes what happened? " Sophie asked.

" Nothing happened "

" I can tell somethings wrong afterwards you're gonna tell me, kay? " Sophie whispered so that only I could here. I nodded.

We hung out at the park for a few minutes. I was praying that Leo wouldn't come. I wonder what would happen if I asked him about it.

" This is about that stupid Leo's cheating on you rumour isn't it? " Percy asked all of a sudden. Crap how'd he know?! I didn't look up.

" Sadie, Leo isn't like that. He would never do that " Percy continued.

" I know it hurts to hear people saying that but you can't believe that crap. Leo wouldn't do that and you know it " Sophie said.

" I-I know he wouldn't but I just wish.....he'd stop being a little skeeze! " I went from sad to sassy.

" What can I say....some people are born skeezey " Percy said.

" Skeezey? " Sophie questioned.
