Chapter 46

Sophie's POV
I marched up to Ed with my hands on my hips. He raised an eyebrow at me.

" What did you do to Sadie?! She all angry and she said it's your fault! Did you dump her?! " I said, sassily.

" I didn't do anything! Are you high?! " Ed exclaimed.

" You dumped her didn't you?! Don't mess with my best friend Levesque, she will literally make your life....oh how do I put this in fun way.....HORRIBLE! "

" For f***s sake what did I even do?! "

" How should I know?! All she said was she's pissed off and it's your fault! "

" I didn't do anything! "

" Obviously you have, now THINK "

" I have no idea! "

" What happened between you guys and was she annoyed after? "

" Ummm.....well she asked me which shirt she should wear, I said I don't know. Then she decided to wear a blue shirt and I said " Wait wear the red one it suits you more " and she flipped out, but she was probably joking "

" You not serious right??? "

" I'm serious "

" Is that all that happened between you guys today? "

" Yeah that's it "

" Ummm that's weird...are you sure nothing else happened? NOTHING AT ALL? "

" I'm sure Gallina! "

I thought for a moment then muttered " She's pms-ing for sure.... "

" What? " Ed raised an eyebrow.

" U-Um nothing! She's um just being mo-moody nothing else um hehe..... " I lowered my voice, " Don't tell her about Australia yet I don't think she's emotionally ready....wait a week or so "

Ed nodded then looked down sadly.

" What happened? " I asked.

" Nothing "

" Ed tell me "

" I said it's nothing didn't I?! "

" Fine whatever, but I know "

" Know what? "

" Why you're upset "

" Then why am I huh? "

" Because you're confused and scared of what to do. You don't know if you want to break up with her yet do you? "

Ed blinked and stared at me in disbelief " How are you so good at that? "

" Common sense Eddie....common sense "

" Sophie I don't want to break up with her. She means the world to me and I can't live without her. I love her so much, but I want to do what's best for her " Ed said in barly a whisper.

I felt so bad for Ed. He's going through so much and now he has to tell Sadie he's moving across the world! I wish there was a way I could help I honestly have no idea how.

I grabbed his hand and looked into his eyes.

" Hey it'll be okay I promise. Why don't you try long distance? If it doesn't work out then you guys will still be friends no matter what, I can tell " I said warmly.

Ed slowly nodded " You're right....I'll see Sadie wants and then I'll carry on from there.... "

" Alright "

" Oh and I wanted to tell her soon because her birthday is coming up and I don't want to make her upset near her birthday. Yeah that's going to be hard since I'm leaving the day after her birthday but....I-I don't know "

" Don't think about it too much. When the right time comes you'll know. It's going to be okay "

I let go of his hand and smiled. He lightly smiled back. The bell for our next period class rang and I quickly made my way to Chemistry.

I was a few minutes late but it didn't matter since we had a subsitute teacher who was barly paying attention. I slide into my seat beside Leo.

" Hi " I said quietly.

" Sup " he answered like usual.

Leo seemed abnormally gloomy. He was usually all hyper and happy. That's weird...

" Leo are you o- "

" I'm fine " he answered harshly.

I sighed then leaned back in my chair. Why has everyone been so stressed out and tense lately?

At the end of the painfully long day I went straight home without saying bye to anyone. I was exhausted and confused about everything. Lately I have just been so distant with Percy it's like neither of us are even putting in an effort to keep the relationship going. We both have been really busy and have hardly been talking.

I took a nice hot shower, changed into some shorts and a tank top, and crashed onto my bed. I put in my headphones and let the music drown me into a deep sleep.

A blaring ringing jerked me awake. I ripped my headphones out of my ears as they were still buzzing from the loud ringing. I was getting a call. I squinted to adjest to the bright light.

The caller ID read Sadie

I have over 7 miss calls from her, 5 from Ed, and over 11 from Leo. And 1 from Percy.... What the hell happened?! It's 4 in the morning why are they calling me so much?!

I tried calling all 4 of them but none of them would pick up. What the hell!?

I was starting to get really scared and nervous now. I kept trying to call and text them but none of them would reply or pick up. And for Percy it just said his phone was shut off.

I took deep breaths and tried to call myself.

It's probably nothing. Stop worrying Sophie, everything okay. No one's hurt. Everything is okay.

I got up and went to the washroom. I splashed cold water on my face and tied my hair back.

" Calm down. Calm down. Calm down. Everything is okay " I kept muttering to myself.

I heard a familier ringing once again. It was my phone!

I rushed out the bathroom - almost slipping on my way out - and grabbed my phone which had been barried under my blanket.

It was Sadie!

My heart beat sped up as I pressed answer and brought the phone to my ear.

" H-Hello? " my voice cracked.

" SOPHIE PERCY'S IN THE HOSPITAL! " Sadie bawled.

My heart stopped. Everything around me froze. It was like the whole world just came crashing down. My heart exploded into a million pieces. Everything went plundging down. Darkness consumed me.

AYEEEEEE OMG DUN DUN DUNNNN I LOVE CLIFFHANGERS LMAOOOO My book has gotten really random like wtff why is everyone getting hurt???? But whatever cause I love lots of plot twists and things that just go BAM and hit ya.
