Chapter 12

Sadie's POV
Everyone's eyes fell on the door. There stood a girl with flawless tanned golden skin, dark brown currly hair with blond highlights that was in a braid, she had on a flower head band, she was wearing a dark blue short sleeved shirt and white shorts. She was really pretty.

She stood beside Mr.Silva and smiled.

" Hi, my name's Amara Foster! " she said confidently with a big smile. Everyone eyed her. Some guys gushed over her some girls shot her dirty looks I just gave a smile.

" I hope you feel welcomed and have a good year Amara! I would like you to know that you will be having the same schedule as Leo, the guy over there " Mr.Silva explained then pointed at Leo. Leo gave a quick wave and smile.

" You can sit at that empty seat next to Charrolette ". Amara walked to where the teacher pointed. When she passed Leo she gave him a flirty smile and a wink....no one noticed except Leo, me, and....Ed. I clenched my fists.

Ed looked at me with his eyebrows raised as if saying " you okay? " I nodded and slumped down in my chair. Mr.Silva stopped infront of Leo's desk and slamed his hands down hard.

" I expect you to take good care of her Hernandez. Make sure she feels welcomed and give her a tour around and escort her to classes. She's a precious one " that last part he whispered but I heard.

Anger boiled up inside me. What the hell does he mean by " she's a precious one?! " I'm Leo's GIRLFRIEND. I saw Ed smirk from the corner of my eyes.

After gym and homeroom Sophie, Sasha, Jade, and I headed to the cafeteria. Once we got there I saw Amara sitting in my seat...between Sophie and Leo. Leo didn't even notice I was there he just happily talked and laughed with Amara. I felt a pang of jealousy. Sophie eyed her suspisioucly and looked at me.

" Sadie I left something in the drama room will you come with me? " she asked. I nodded and we headed off towards the drama room. I felt a pair of eyes stare at me I just didnt know who.

Sophie and I walked around the halls until we found a nice bench near the music room. We sat down and ate our lunch.

" I don't like the new student " Sophie spat. I nodded in agreement.

" She made the wrong move being all flirty with my best friends boyfriend "

" You're awesome " I giggled. Sophie smirked with pride. I rolled my eyes.

After we finished our lunch I said bye to Sadie and headed to my next class. Usually Leo and I would walk together since we both had Math but today he was no where in sight. Instead I catched up to Sasha and we both walked together.

" That new chick was being all flirty with Leo but I said ' Leo when is your's and Sadie's 1 year anniversary ' and then Amara looked mad but she should know that he's taken " Sasha said with so much sass.

" Have I ever mentioned that I have the best friends in the world? " I said with a side waye smile.

" Ehh it wouldn't hurt to mention it more "

Once we got to Math I sat in my usual seat in the middle room next to the window. Sasha sat down beside me. Ed sat infront of me which made me happy for some reason. Leo and Amara sat beside each other on the other side of the room. I grumbled in annoyance.

Amara's loud annoying fake laugh was heard all through out the room. Im surprised Leo's ears haven't started bleeding yet. The teacher started the boring lesson. I yawned then searched my backpack for a peice of paper. I took out a pencil and scribbled down a sentence.
