Broken Love

Chapter 7

Sadie's POV
Today was the second last day at the beach house. I really wanted to show Leo that cave. Maybe today I will. Dave, Sophie, Leo, and I sat at the breakfast table. I sipped my orage juice.

" Who's up for some exploring? " Dave asked.

" Me! " Sophie chirped.

" Sure " Leo said.

" I KNOW A GREAT AREA TO EXPLORE! I WENT THERE A FEW DAYS AGO AND I REALLY WANT YOU GUYS TO SEE! " I exclaimed practically jumping out of my chair.

" Okay, where is it? " Dave asked.

" That my friend is a surprise " I said slyly. I wanted to show Leo the cave, but I don't mind if Dave and Sophie came along.

We quickly finished our breakfast and went up to change. I put on a hot pink t-shirt and a pair of stone wash shorts. I put my normally striaght but now wavey hair into a high pony tail and slipped on my white converse.

Once we were all ready and outside I led the way.

" Sadie are we going into the forest? " Sophie asked. I nodded. Sophie and Dave exchanged nervous looks.

" Um you know how you said you came here a few days ago? Did you go during night? " Dave questioned nervously.

" Uh huh, why? " I asked.

" Sadie there are dangerous animals out at night! " Sophie exclaimed. I gulped.

" Sadie did you get hurt?! Did you see anything weird!? " Leo asked stopping me from walking by standing infront of me.

" I didn't get hurt and I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I'm fine Leo " I said with a smile.

" Don't do that okay? Be careful please " Leo begged. I hugged him.

" Fine I won't " I said.

I began to lead the way to the cave. Hopefully I remember the way back. I didn't need to use my phone since it was bright outside. Sophie and I walked in front while Dave and Leo walked behind us.

After the 30 minute walk we were at the river.

" Wait...I know where you're taking us! " Dave exclaimed.

" Keep quiet " I said narrowing my eyes on him. He nodded.

The 4 of us walked through the river. Once we were at the other side I told Leo to close his eyes and Dave told Sophie to. The two obeyed with a confused look on their faces. I grabbed Leo's hand and led him into the cave.

Once we were surrounded by the gorgeous aqua crysyals and infront of the sparkling pool of water I told Leo to open his eyes. Leo opened his eyes and was in utter shock.

" Sa-sa......Sadie....this place is....stunning.... " Leo said slowly.

" Oh my.....this is beautiful! " Sophie chirped.

" Wanna go swimming? " Leo suggested.

" Uh you guys go ahead....um last time I swam here it didn't go so well hehe.... " I said nervously, scratching the back of my head.

" Sadie you went swimming in this water?! " Dave asked. I nodded.

" Are you crazy?! There are paranas in there! " Dave exclaimed. I started fidgting with my fingers and looked down.

" Sadie what the heck?! Are you okay?! Did you get hurt?! Ugh be careful please! How long were you in there?! " Leo asked rapidly. He had a lot of concern in his voice. I didn't look up as I spoke.

" I-I'm fine. I didn't get hurt. Um I was in there for about 20 minutes " I said, studdering.

" You're lying "

" NO I'M NOT! "

" Sadie tell me what happened! "

" Nothing happened Leo! "

" I care about you Sadie "

" And that's exactly why I can't tell you! " I said. There was a pause. " I mean um if something did happen there's a chance I wouldn't tell you. But nothing did happen " I said quickly.

" Sadie just tell me " Leo said. He was holding my hands.

" You're gonna think I'm a complete idiot but......I um almost drowned....... "

" YOU ALMOST DROWNED?!? HOW?! " Leo exclaimed his grip got tighter. I explained to him what happened but I left out my little dream I had.

" Sadie you're such an idiot " Leo said with his head down. I gave him a goofy sideways smile

" That's why you love me! " I said. Leo pulled me into a hug.

" Sadie please be careful. I get really worried. I never save you from trouble and it hurts to see you in danger. Promise me you'll be more careful " Leo said softly.

" Leo it wasn't really a big deal "

" Sadie you could've died....I could've lost you "

" But you didn't "

" Yeah but I could have Sadie "

" Leo don't worry so much I'll be fine. I can take care of myself, but fine I promise I'll be more careful " I said with a slight smile. I pulled again and kissed him on the cheeck.

Well I guess Sophie amd Dave abandoned us, great. I don't know the way back. It's nice to be alone with Leo. Don't get me wrong being with Sophie and Dave is really fun, but sometimes it's peaceful with just Leo. I sat crossed leg by the water. I ran my hand through the water. It was the perfect temperature like always. Leo sat down beside me. It was really peaceful and calming until Leo spoke up.

" Hey um Sadie..... " he started.

" Mmhm? " I asked looking into his eyes.

" Well....who's the guy who saved you? "

" Who saved me? "

" When you were about to drown "

" Ohhhh Edward? "

" Yeah him "

" What about him? "

" Nothing I-I just wanted to know who it was so I could thank him " Leo replied. I smirked.

" Awwww is Leo jealous? " I said in a mocking baby voice.

" N-no " Leo said defensivly.

After a while Leo and I decided to head back to the beach. We couldn't find Sophie and Dave so we went back our selves. But obviously us both being the clueless people we are didn't know the way back. We got lost but eventually found the beach. I fell into the sand.

" Ughhhh my legs are broken " I complained. Next thing I know Leo was carrying my bridal style. I rested my head against his chest and smiled. We walked back to the beach house and started to pack. Tomorrow we would be heading back home.

Hiiii! This chapter was okay it wasn't anything special. These beach house chapters aren't really important to the story line except for the last chapter. That was important. Do you guys think when they get back home I should do a time skip to when school starts or should I still make it summer? I hope you guys liked this chapter!
