Chapter 11

Sadie's POV
I was sitting in homeroom resisting the urge to sneeze. I felt it coming but I coudln't sneeze cause it would be loud and Mr.Silva is reading some boring article to us.

" ACHOOO " that was way louder than I expected! All eyes were on me.

" Uh s-sorry " I said sheepishly.

" Bless you " Ed muttered.

" Thanks " I said back in surprise. DID ED JUST SAY BLESS YOU?!

Ugh I'm getting sick! NOOOOOO T-T Leo wasn't here today because of a hockey match which sucked. As Mr.Silva was passing out some papers I put my head down. Someone tapped my shoulder. I looked up it was Sophie.

" You shouldn't have swam " she said matter of factly.

" Whatever mother! " I said. Sophie rolled her eyes.

UGH! My head was throbbing, my throat was drier than the sahara desert and it hurt like crazy, I felt cold on the inside but hot on the outside, and my nose was stuffy.

As Mr.Silva got to my desk he spoke.

" Sadie you don't look so well "

" Ugh I'm sick "

" I'll take her to the nurse " Ed budded in.

" That's awfully kind of you Ed " Mr.Silva said.

And that was that. Ed took me to the nurse's office.

" It's so unlike you to be so nice Ed " I joked.

" I could leave you right here to sulk about being sick " he said.

" Go ahead "

" Fine " he said then turned around.

" Wait no I was joking! " I exclaimed. He smirked then walked ahead of me. I tried to catch up.

" Stop walking so fast I'm like half dead "

" You walk too slow I told you already "

" ACHOOO! " I sneezed again. " And you're mean "

" I'm not mean "

" Yes you are! "

" I could have let you drown women! "

" But ya didn't " I said cheerfully. He raised an eyebrow.

" Exactly. I'm not mean "

" Oh whatever " I rolled my eyes.

Once we got to the nurse's office the nurse asked me what was wrong. I was about to answer but then Ed interupted me.

" She was being stupid like she always is and decided to go swimming and then she went out when the wind was cold and she didn't dry her hair for like 15 minutes " Ed said flatly.

" Shut up! You're such a jerk! " I said then shoved him.

The nurse giggled and I swear I could have heard her mutter " young love! " She left the room for a few minutes to go get some medicene. I glared at Ed.

" Stop looking at me like that " he said coldly.

" You can be such a jerk sometimes! Why do you always make me sound like I'm some dumb 5 year old who doesn't know what their doing?! " I spat.

" Well maybe because you are "

" This is what I mean by your a jerk! Like stop! I've been so nice to you and you just act like a jerk in return! "
