Chapter 5

Sadie's POV

I was on my phone when I heard the sound of Sophie yelling....

" Dave you idiot! How do you just forget that you left the stove on?! You could have burned the house down! "

Um what exactly was going on? I forced myself out of bed and waddled down the stairs. They were in the kitchen. I stood by the wall and listened closely.

" It was an accident! I was tryna make you guys lunch as a surprise but then I got a call and then I sorta forgot! " Dave yelled back.

" You're such an iresponsible idiot sometimes.....are you hurt? " Sophie asked with a lot of concern in her voice.

" No I just burned my hand a bit " Dave said sheepishly.

" Let me see! " Sophie insisted.

I decided to leave the two of them alone. I thought Dave didn't even know how to cook. Well at least he tried. I wonder if Leo's awake yet it's 2 in the afternoon. I went to his room and knocked on the door. There was no answer. I knocked again. Still no answer. I signed then opened the door.

" Leo you haven't gotten out of your room at all it's 2 in the afterno-- " I stopped in the middle of my sentence. Leo was fast asleep. I smiled. Maybe I should wake him up. Slowly I made my way beside his bed. I sat down beside him and lightly shook him.

" Leo....Leo wake up it's 2 o'clock " I said softly. He groaned in response.

" Leo get up we should go do something fun come on " I said.

" Ugh later " he moaned. I rolled my eyes.

" Get up Leo "

" Only if you give me a kiss "

" I'm not giving you a kiss "

" Why? "

" Because you can't get everything you want "

" You're gonna be stuborn aren't you? "

" I'm Sadie Angelo what do you expect? "

" I expect you to kiss me "

" Nope "

" Fine "

" Good, now get up or I won't leave "

" I'll get up in a few minutes "

" Fine but I'm leaving " I said then stood up. Leo grabbed my wrist. He pulled my down. I was literally on top of him. My face was redder than a tomato.

" Will you kiss me now? " he asked.

" This isn't gonna make me want to kiss you. I mean I do cause I love you but um uh no " I said then quickly rolled off and stood up.

" I'll get that kiss today " Leo said confidently.

" Good luck with that " I snorted. Then an idea came to me.

" Let's play a little game.... " I say evily. Leo raised an eyebrow.

" I have to run and hide from you all day and if you find and catch me I will give you a kiss but if you don't then you......take me shopping! " I explained.

" Sounds interesting.... I'll play " Leo said.

" It will end at midnight. When should we start? " I asked. Leo smirked mischeviously.

" Now " he said then got out of bed in a blink of an eye. I let out a scream and ran out of the room. Leo at my heels. Why did I make this stupid game Leo's way faster than me! I don't have a problem with kissing him it's just I like messing around with him.

I ran out of the house and onto the beach barefoot. I was barley even able to open the door without almost getting caught. I ran for my life. People were staring at us. Some gave us weird looks some people commented on us.

" Awwww they're so cute together! "

" Go Sadie! "

" Leo's gonna get her for sure! "

I just kept running and running never looking back. If I stopped even for a few seconds I would get caught. After about 7 minutes my friend Jade began running beside me. I became friends with her on the beach.

" Who ya runnin' from? " she asked.

" L-Le-o " I said waaaay too outta breath.

" Um Sadie Leo isn't even there. He stopped and headed back to the house a few minutes ago " Jade said. I mentally facepalmed.

I stopped running and quickly turned around. Leo was no where in sight. I groaned in frusteration and collapsed on to the warm sand, gasping for air. Jade gave me a pair of extra sandals and some water. I chugged down the water in one sip. Oh my I was so thirsty.

I fell back on the sand. This is gonna be a loooong day.....

Hey guys! Omg I'm so sorry for taking forever to update! Wattpad was clitching and I wasn't able to work on my story without it deleting. But now I think it's fixed and I'll try to work on it more!
