Broken Love

Chapter 48

Sadie's POV
It's been a week and Percy is still in a coma. I can't believe it. His condition is so serious. I would have never expected it to get this out of hand. I'm so scared and worried. There's only a 35% chance that he'll wake up. The doctor's are doing what they can, but what they can do is not enough. They can't even perform the surgury because he hasn't woken up.

Sophie is literally a mess. She hasn't come to school at all. She's been at the hospital. She is normally so happy and cheerful, but now she is not even cracking a smile. Everyone is trying to cheer her up, but nothing is working. The girl is literally losing her mind. She's worried sick.

Leo isn't any better. He's the same as Sophie. He isn't his normal hyper active self anymore. It's like he's lost all emotion. Leo came to school a few times, but just ended up leaving half way. He and Sophie have completely lost it. They're so lost of hope and broken.

" There's a chance he'll wake up. You can't lose hope yet, things could change " I said to Sophie.

She didn't respond. She just continued to stare numbly at the ground.

" Sophie you can't go on like this. Think of Percy, he wouldn't want to see you like this, right? " I added.

" I guess " her voice was hallow.

I shuddered at the sound of her cold empty voice.

" You guys can see him now " Logan said, coming out of the room.

I stood up, Sophie beside me, and walked into the hospital room. I stood beside Percy's bed and looked at his broken body.

" Hey P-Perce " I choked. " You know coach delayed the soccer try-outs because of you? He said you were too good to give up, so he post-poned the try-outs till you're better "

" It's funny how much coach loves you " Sophie said.

" Percy I have gotten better at Fifa. I almost beat Sophie, so when you get up I'm going to kick you're a** at it "

" It's true Perce, she's gotten good. We're all waiting for you to get better. I miss you. We miss you "

" And Mocking Jay Part 2 is out so we better watch it when you wake up "

" Yeah....we're all waiting for you "

" I'll give you some time alone, okay? " I said to Sophie.

She nodded as I left the room. I walked down the hall and stopped by the café. I saw Leo sitting at a table in the corner. I walked over to him and sat down across from him.

" Hey " I smiled a bit.

" Hi " he said, monotone.

" Starting tomorrow Percy is going to be Logan AND my parents patient....my parents care about him a lot and I know they are going to work day and night to get him better "

" That's good....has his condition stabalized at all? "

" I-I'm not sure.... "

" Oh okay. " Leo hesitated for a second. " Look Sadie I need to tell you something, and I don't think I should wait any longer "

" Yeah? " I raised an eyebrow as curiousity bubbled inside of me.

" You know how for my hockey we always travel places? " he started.

I nodded.

" Well in June my team is going to a hockey tournament in Europe "

" That's great Leo! "
