Chapter 36

Percy's POV
" And then yeah. I don't know what the hell that drunk b***h is talking about " I finished explaining what happened.

We had checked the whole house and still didn't find Sophie. I was getting really worried. She isn't herself right now what if she does something stupid?

" You're an idiot Rivenna " Ed muttered.

" I know I know! Now can we focus on looking for Sophie? " I hissed.

I ran outside and checked the entire front yard and back. I couldn't find her anywhere! I ran my hands through my hair and took a deep breath.

" Percy so you don't have any feelings for that girl at all? " Sadie asked for a billionth time.

" No! For the billionth freakin time I DO NOT like that blonde @$&#^! " I yelled in frusteration.

Sadie put her hand on my shoulder. " Percy it's going to be fine we'll find your girlfriend ".

" Ex " I corrected.

" Huh? "

" Ex-girlfriend. She broke up with me... "

" Oh....she doesn't even understand what's going on. When she's better tomorrow tell her then. She'll understand. She's an understanding person "

" I know....that's one reason why I love her so much " I admited.

Sadie and Ed both smirked. I rolled my eyes and countinued looking. We found a path had some blood on it. Blood? Sophie was barefoot. If she walked across all of this of course her foot would be bleeding!

A wave of guilt washed over me. Ugh I hope she's okay! If something happened to her I will probably go insane.

I pushed past a few trees and sighed. There she was. She was lying beside the lake. Her body slowly rising up and then sinking down. She seemed so at peace. I noticed her feet. They had blisters, rocks in them, and they were bleeding.

" Take her home. " Ed said.

" T-to my house? " I asked, confused.

" Nooo take her to her own house where she will be home alone and wake up to bleeding feet and a hangover. " he said sarcastically.

" R-right... " I said.

I picked up her small body in my arms and held her close. Her cheecks were stained with tears. Her makeup ran down her face. There was a cut on her forehead. I wiped the blood away with my thumb. I could hear her breathing and her soft faint heart beat. I gently kissed her forehead and turned towards Ed and Sadie.

" Well I'm gonna go now. Make sure Leo isn't drunk as hell please? And well enjoy the rest of the party " I said quietly, making sure to not wake Sophie up.

I walked to my car while Sadie and Ed went back to the party. I set Sophie down carefully in the seat. I buckled up her seat belt and moved her hair out of her face.

Once and a while as I was driving I would glance at Sophie and end up smiling. She was always so cute when she sleeps

I wonder what will happen when she wakes up. Will she even remember what happened? Part of me was hoping she wouldn't remember a thing but no that's wrong. Even if she didn't remember I should still tell her. She deserves to know.

When I got home I went up to my room and layed Sophie down on my bed. I checked the time, it was 2:34am. I looked at her and realized something. She's going to sleep in that dress?
