Chapter 9

Sadie's POV
*** TIME SKIP *** ( first day of grade 11 )
Beep! Beep! BEEEP!

I groan in frusteration and slam my hand on my alarm. It finally shut up. A second later my phone started to ring. It was Leo. That imideatly woke me up. I pressed answer.

" Morning! " I said tired but cheerfully.

" Someone's in a good mood for the first day of school " Leo said.

" To be honest I was really annoyed, but then I saw I got a call from you and it cheered me up "

" Really?! "

" Yup! "

" Well that's nice to hear! Wanna walk to school together? "

" Of course! Well I'm going to go get ready! Gotta look good for the first day back to hel- uh I mean school " I coughed.

" Okay text me when you're ready. Bye "

" Bye " and with that I hung up.

I threw myself out of bed and dragged my feet to the washroom. I took a quick shower, brushed, washed my face, you know my normal morning routine. After I got out of the washroom I dried my hair and picked out an outfit. I decided to wear a light pink flowly tank top, a white skater shirt, and some white converse. I left my hair out and and put in a pink floral braided headband.

I skipped down the stairs and shoved a granola bar in my mouth. I wasn't that hungry. After I packed my bag I texted Leo saying that I saw ready. I cant wait to go back to school! I haven't seen Sasha all summer because she was in Paris and I'm so excited to see her now!

There was a knock at my door. I grabbed my bag and walked down the hall. I opened the door and smiled. Leo grabbed my hand and we walked towards our school.

" I didn't get to see you as much as I wanted to over the summer " I said sadly.

" I'm sorry hockey tournaments can be a real pain " Leo said.

" I really missed you "

" You don't know how much I missed you " Leo said. I smiled.

When we got to school there was still 10 minutes before first period started. We all decided to meet up by the gym. When we got there I saw Sophie and Sasha and ran towards my two best friends and tackled them with a huge hug.

" I missed you guys so much! " Sasha said.

" I missed you guys too! " Sophie and I said in unison.

I was so happy because all my friends were in my homeroom class. We were all talking and laughing when my eyes almost popped out their sockets. I saw my two friends from the beach Justin and Jade walking towards us! I said nothing and just ran towards them with the biggest smile ever.

" What are you guys doing here?!? " I exclaimed. Now all my friends were here.

" We transferred! " Jade exclaimed.

" And you never told us?! " I shrieked.

" We wanted it to be a surprise! " Justin said.

Turns out Justin and Jade were also in my homeroom class! This years going to be really fun I can tell! The only person missing is....Ed.
When we got to our homeroom we sat down in random spots. The teacher would assign seats later. We were all talking about our summer when the teacher walked in. He was a man in his early thirties. I knew him well. Mr.Silva. He was an awesome teacher!

" Morning class! Welcome to grade 11. I'm gonna be your homeroom teacher my names Mr.Silva " our teacher said.

" Good morning " the whole class said in unison...gee we sounded dead.
