Chapter 23

Saturday
Amarina's P.O.V
I sit on my computer chair while Mali does my hair. "So I see that you chose Aaron." She sighs. "Ya." I say with no emotion. "You okay?" She asks while she curls my hair. "I guess."

"Do you not want to go?"

"I do but I'm worried about what's going to happen."

"What do you mean?"

"Ever since they left everything has gotten worse. I don't tell them of course. I just wish they were here. Then maybe Mikey and I could still be friends."

"Hey it'll be okay. Just try and avoid people."
I say okay and she keeps doing my hair. Mali then helps me pick out a dress. She hands me a black one that reaches just above my knees. I put it on in the bathroom and come back in my room with it on. "You look amazing." She says with a satisfying smile. "Thanks."
"Amarina! He's here!" My dad yells.

"I better go before they take pictures." I say and run downstairs with my flats on.
I say goodbye to my dads and walk out the door. I hop into Aaron's car and fasten my seat belt.

"You ready?" Aaron asks obviously annoyed for some reason.

"Ya." I say.
He then drives to the school. The car ride is completely silent.

We walk into the gym and I go sit down at a table. "I'm going to go say hi to one of my friends. I'll be back in a minute." He says and I nod in response. To keel myself busy I text Calum not sure what else I'm supposed to do.
Me: hey your sister is amazing. She did my hair and picked out my dress. Wish you guys could be here or I could be there. I'm sure it'd be a lot more fun over there.
Cal: are you not having fun??
Me: no Aaron is talking to his friends and I'm alone right now
Cal: just be careful. Don't let Aaron or anyone hurt you okay and don't tell him we've been talking.
Me: why??
Cal: just be careful. Bye gtg
I then sigh since Calum had to go. They aren't playing any good music. So dancing won't be an option. So I just chill out by myself while listening to the music.
Hours pass and I have just sat here. The dance ends in two hours. So I have sat here for at least two hours doing nothing. I'm so board I go get something to drink. While I get something to drink I hear a clicking of heels come from behind me. Well fucking fantastic. I think to myself.

"Hey look guys the loser is out of her habitat." Kylee says.

"What the hell do you want?" I sigh.

"We just want to show you something." She says while grabbing my wrist.
She takes me to a corner in the gym tells me to stay. When she comes back there are three guys behind her and her friends. "We would like you to meet these boys. They're going to give you something." She says with a smirk. "Which is?" I say annoyed. Kylee snaps her fingers and I'm instantly drenched in punch. It soaks my dress and makes my hair go almost completely straight.
I wipe my eyes and I see Aaron. "Oh and by the way Aaron and I have been dating." She says and she grabs his face and presses her lips to his. That was it for me, but they had more. One of her friends pushes me up against a wall. "What the fuck let me go." I say trying to force myself out of her grip. "Jackson come hold her here!" She yells. He holds me up against the wall.
