Camila pov

We were well into the tour and Taylor kept her distance, I think she took the hint that I didn't want to talk to her. She caused issues between Shawn and me and I'm glad there was no more. Shawn was currently performing on stage.

We're in Washington state, and the air was cool. It was cold enough to cause a ripple of goosebumps down my arms. Shawn stated that he wanted to go out with a few buddy's after he performs so I know he won't be back until late or at all. He tends to get carried away and passes out at their apartment or hotel. I was here for moral support, it made me happy to see him performing his heart out.

My heart soared to see him happy, he deserved it. Shawn started seeking therapy over the tour since he lashed out at me. I knew things were getting even better when he made that decision. Couples have to work through these things, and I'm so happy that he's willing to.

He wants me.

He's halfway through his set when I hear people entering the backstage. Glancing to my right I see Taylor exit her sneak-in closet and I quickly turn back to watch Shawn. She was none of my concern. I feel her approaching me and I sneak a look to see she's quickly approaching.

"Hey Camila," Taylor says standing next to me

Those butterflies return and I stomach them

"Hey," I said throwing a glance her way

"Crowds real bug tonight huh" she mumbled

"Yeah," I say and catch a glimpse of something on her wrist.

Turning my head more to get a better look I notice it's the bracelet I made that she kept. I didn't think she'd keep it. I reach forward grabbing her wrist and yank it up.

"You need to take this off" I demand

"Huh," Taylor says confused

"The bracelet, you can't keep it on. He knows what I make" I say

Taylor yanks her wrist out of my grasp

"Who's to say one of my fans gave it to me," she says glancing at Shawn.

Taylor pulls the sleeve of her jacket over the bracelet and tucks it into the pockets

"He knows what mine look like" I huff

"Don't worry I'm not scared of him" she smiles

Yeah but I am, I think to myself. I quickly push that thought out, it's not true. Another shiver rolls over my skin and Taylor glances my way. Within seconds she's stripping her jacket off and placing it over my shoulders.

"No I can't, " I say going to take it off but Taylor's hands press the jacket back on

"You do, your cold" she hums

"What about you," I asked glancing at her leotard of an outfit

"I'll be fine, the tights have layers that keep me warm, you're the one shivering. Did Shawn not tell you to bring a jacket " she huffs

No, he didn't

"He did, I just forgot it" I defend

"Maybe don't forget it, I'd hate to see you sick Camila," Taylor says

Those damn butterflies erupt in my stomach again

" I won't " I clip turning back to Shawn

He's on the last song of his set, the sun starting to lower behind the mountains. The jacket smells what I imagined Taylor to smell like, I slide my arms through the sleeve and zip it up. I was colder than I thought and the jacket brought me warmth. I hated that it was from Taylor but it was a jacket at least. The aroma of cinnamon and vanilla wafted into my senses, fuck why'd she have to smell good. I block out the smell as Shawn finishes up his song.
