How do you know when the end is the end? Is it the end, or maybe a Mirage?

Taylor was currently on stage, performing her heart out. She was breathtaking, as always. All these years, she never failed to be enough. Always there and always pure.

The joy inside my heart was enough to make my chest hurt. This is what real life felt like. All these years with Taylor will never amount to my suffering without her.

Taylor is on the last show of her final tour. She said this two hours ago, but I think this might be the one. Her body is not the same as it used to be, so she makes much more effort to give her fans these three-night shows back to back. She won't give up music; that's a given. She just can't and doesn't want to perform anymore. She will always put the music out; you can't take that away from her.

We have talked about it for a long, long time. We both know it's coming, yet we don't want it to happen. It's so bittersweet.

I went to college for publishing and now own my own publishing company; there are two books out and a third on the way. They are all romance novels inspired by my fairytale.

With Taylor's fans' help, it sold out within seconds of dropping- now I am gratefully forced to do presale.

Taylor will continue to make music to share her life through songs and stories. Yet she's stepping back. She wants to settle down, less interviews and press walks, and more spending time with family and loved ones.

We had recently bought a house in upstate New York, and it was beautiful, nestled in the trees and hills, away from the city and suburban legends about us. The home was cozy- especially in the wintertime. Taylor and I agreed to head home after this last show and enjoy a few weeks of peace. There is no internet or life to deal with, just enjoying each other's company.

"Camila- did you hear back from your attorney?" Andrea says next to me as Taylor ducks under the stage to change.

"Hmmm, oh yeah- Shawn did sell my work." I turned to look at her

"Oh, sweetie, how? " Andrea asks with sadness.

I'm at peace with my life, finally.. not even something from years ago is going to cause me to trip and stumble.

"He took them out of my book- sold them to the same person with Taylor's originals. " I sigh a little

"I don't understand how that is even legal," she says, shaking her head.

"Me either- luckily, Taylor had proof at her home studio. can't fight a losing battle from prison." I laugh slightly

Three years into Shawn's sentence, he was also found guilty of selling hundreds of other women's music and photos illegally online, along with the possession of child P*rngraphy across multiple devices in his home. Long story short- he is gone. I won't ever have to deal with it again.

"So where does that leave you with your music?" Andrea asked

"Honestly, music isn't something I'm super into; even if I wanted to record them, I could do so freely since nothing was ever done with my lyrics," I said, picking up my drink and sipping.

"So messy- people need to keep to themselves," Andrea huffs in her chair

"I can toast to that," I snort, and Andrea cheers my cup.
