Camila

I follow him into the building and he leads me up to the top floor. Once we exit the elevator he waits with me until Taylor opens the door. The warmth from the hotel lobby was enough to help my mind ease but not enough for my body. Taylor takes in my appearance and instantly grabs me.

"Oh my gosh" she panics

"I'm okay, I'm cold" I mumble out

"For fucks sake of course you are" she groans shitting the door.

Taylor leads me over to the fireplace setting me down on the small couch. She quickly takes my socks and shoes off before I have time to protest. She reached back pulled a blanket around my body and leaves the room. The fire was nice. My feet heated up and I could feel them defrosting. Occasionally a shiver would course through my body and I held it back. Taylor entered back into the room with a steaming mug and handed it to me.

"Thanks," I say taking a sip.

The warmth of the tea warmed me from the inside, I was thankful to stumble across her hotel. I feel Taylor sit down next to me.

"What happened," she asked

I just shake my head and take another sip.

"It's him isn't it" Taylor sneers

I glance at her to see hate on her face. Who knew she could possess such an emotion?

"He's just mad" I defend him

"No amount of anger is enough to leave you outside in the cold," Taylor says with an edge to her tone

I think about that. I guess she's right but I did Screw it up.

"You deserve better Camila " Taylor states

I shake my head disagreeing with her.

"He's the best, I'm the one that needs to be better," I say setting the mug down

"That's bullshit Camila" Taylor seethes

I ignore her and try to focus on warming back up.

"Do you have a charger? " I ask pulling my phone out to show her it's dead.

She simply stands up grabs my phone and walks out of the room, to plug it in I assume. I lean back into the couch and take a deep breath. People made things hard, Taylor made things hard. She calls my shit to the light and spreads it out to examine the flaws. She's back in the room and at my side.

"Are you hungry?" she asks

I shake my head no yet my stomach growls yes.

"I'll take that as a yes, I'll order pizza," she says

My stomach flips at the thought of eating something Austin tells me to buy every day.

"Can we get Chinese?" I ask glancing over at her

She eyes me for a second before nodding her head and heading into the kitchen. I sink further into the couch and take in a few more breaths. Did Shawn actually leave me? Was it with what I did? Am I the bad guy here? I pull the blanket closer around me to try and stop the tears from falling. Taylor noticed instantly that I'd been crying and she doesn't say anything, for that I'm grateful. She turns on the tv above the fireplace and turns on Twilight. I smile at the thoughtfulness of her actions.

I let my mind wander through the movie until the food arrives and Taylor gets it and brings it to the couch.

"Thank you," I say to her as we eat

"Of course, it's the bare minimum of human decency " she hmms

Bare minimum? This is the bare minimum? I'm shocked if Shawn remotely does this once a month. Not even that.
