THE DAYS AFTER QUINN BECAME A RANGER WERE HECTIC. With no base, they were forced to set up shop within one of their larger storage units, which freaked Miss Morgan out to no end. If Heckyl attacked the base again, all those artifacts would bite the dust and the museum would be screwed. But, their other options were 1) a different storage unit or 2) the cafe break room. And, shockingly, the cafe employed more people than the rangers since the cafe needed employees who didn't abandon their posts every few business days.

And thank god they had them, because it gave many of the rangers a glorious day off. Why they chose to spend it with Erin of all people boggled Quinn's mind. The pompous, untalented blonde always took credit for Shelby's hard work and everyone believed her, for some reason. Yet, she was besties with Shelby. To Quinn, it was a mystery why.

Quinn was almost happy that she had to work today so she had an excuse to not be around her. But, her and Shelby's shifts were ending within a few minutes. Obviously, Shelby would join her high school BFF and the team to hang out and Quinn would look like a bitter prick if she didn't join. Dammit. But, maybe Erin had changed since high school? Quinn damn well knew she did. Hopefully, Erin had done the same.

Quinn wiped down the smoothie bar, listening to Shelby and Erin recount making their Triceratops song from their kindergarten talent show, singing it together. "Right after I wrote that song, we won the talent show with it. We were like rock stars, right, Shelby?" Erin proclaimed, looking at Shelby innocently.

Okay, yeah, she's still the same Erin. A groan quietly left Quinn's lips. Shelby stilled, pressing her lips tightly together. Chase similarly stilled, looking at Quinn, who rolled her eyes.

Shelby quickly recovered, smiling. "Uh, yeah, it's a great song!" She said cheerily. "Oh, one minute till my shift's over. Let's go have some fun, huh," Shelby added, grabbing some of the gang's trays and plates. Her announcement was met with many cheers, hoots, and hollers from the excited group.

Quinn crept up behind Shelby, cheekily spooking her with a boo and light push, making Shelby shriek. "Not funny, Quinn!" Shelby retorted, her restrained smile showing she didn't mean it.

Quinn giggled as she and Chase grabbed the rest of the plates and trays from the table. Quinn quirked her head at Shelby. "Eh, you know you love me," She replied, giving her a coy wink as she took the tray from Shelby.

Chase grinned, glowing at Quinn. "Hey, that's my line!"

Koda pointed at the two, saying, "Quinn become like Chase!"

Quinn, straight-faced, monotonically replied, "Don't do that to me," The group burst into laughter.

Chase wrapped his spare arm around Quinn, pulling her in for a quick kiss on the cheek. Quinn faked a gag, lightly shoving at Chase with a smile. "Really?" She questioned.

Chase smirked, Quinn immediately knowing what he would say. "Ah, you know you love me," He replied. She groaned, rolling her eyes.

Erin gaped at the sight, pivoting to Shelby. "When did they start dating?" She asked loudly. Quinn held back another eye-roll, shaking her head at the comment.

Chase unwrapped himself from Quinn, taking the tray and plates from Quinn's grip. Quinn chuckled. "How gentlemanly," She commented playfully.
