"You aren't getting discouraged, are you?" Gloxinia asks me as I get up and wipe the blood from my mouth.

"No, this is starting to get fun." I smile as I ready the wooden sword.

"Hm... Very well." He says before sending several attacks with his golem.

"These attacks seem slower than before, are you getting tired already?" I laugh but quickly get shut up by a vine wrapping around my ankle and yanking me upwards causing me to slam my head against the rocky ground and drop my blade. "Gah!"

"I was just trying to be nice, but if it's too slow for you then I guess I'll go back to the way it was before." Gloxinia smirks as he crosses his arms.

"Hmph..." I cross my arms before spitting blood. "I could beat you with my powers."

"Don't get too cocky." Gloxinia laughs before dropping me.

"Kuh- ow!" I sit up and shake my head.

(Nighttime)

"It's getting late, we should end it here." Gloxinia says as his golem disappears.

"I can do a little more!" I say as I get up.

"Can you heal yourself?"

"No, but I'm fine!" I shake my head, today was really tiring, it's been a while since I got my ass kicked back-to-back for a full day. Gloxinia sighs.

"Just as stubborn." Gloxinia lands beside me. "Let's get going, unless you're planning on staying up all night and training yourself."

"Sounds good."

"But tomorrow I'm training with you again. Are you sure you don't want to rest?"

"Yeah, I'll go to bed when I'm tired."

"Fine, just don't forget everyone's commandments. Good night, good luck." Gloxinia says before he flies back to the group.

"Commandments?... Right, I have to rest at some point, right? Or else Gloxinia's commandment will put me to sleep or seal my magic or something." I sigh. "If I train just a little longer, I can get stronger, right?" I mutter before deciding to train for a few more hours......

I hear a clash not like two blades but more like... I open my eyes and look around... like two bottles of ale.

"Huh?" I look around, I'm in the tavern, ale in hand. I sniff it, it smells like Aberdeen ale, I take a sip of it, it's sweet. Suddenly, a hand is placed on my shoulder. "Eh?" I quickly turn my head.

"Really? You're planning on drinking ale from my homeland without me?" It's...

"Helbram?" I mumble, he looks down at his shirt.

"What? Do I look like someone else? Of course, it's me." He takes the ale from me. "I miss this stuff." Helbram says before drinking it. "Mm~ Taste good."

"Helbram..." I mumble as I reach forward and hug him, burying my head into his chest.

"Huh? Didn't we talk about you doing this?" He says before setting the bottle of ale down and hugging me. "I'm going to start call you the annoying whinny human, if you keep acting like this."

"Do you hate me?" I mumble. I can hear his heartbeat change.

"...Hmm..." Helbram pulls me back to look at him. "I-" He's cut off by the door to the tavern opening and a large group of people come in.
