ANDREAS DUNCAN

"Andreas, kunin mo rin itong mga photo albums namin ni Kit. Ilagay mo riyan sa karton na may mga damit ni Kit."

Letizia handed me 5 thick photo albums and I placed it on top of her brother's clothes.

Ever since I found out about her pregnancy, she didn't have a choice but to accept my demand of having her move in with me. Although at first, she was against it.

"Hindi naman porket buntis ako ay kailangan na ulit nating magsama! Pwede mo naman akong dalawin dito sa bahay kung kailan mo gusto eh!"

Letizia was pissed. She doesn't like the idea of us being together again, but I'm not asking for her opinion about my decision. It's for her sake and I'm not risking it just because she doesn't feel comfortable moving to my house.

"I need to see you every minute of the day so I'd know that you're fine, Letizia. You're pregnant with twins and you know it's hard, atleast I could help you with whatever cravings, mood shifts, morning sickness, and everything else if you move in with me."

I couldn't hide my frustration with her stubbornness anymore. But I know better than show her my frustration, she's pregnant, and it's normal for pregnant women to be this hard to handle.

"Eh paano mo ako mababantayan araw araw, may trabaho ka diba? Noon naman, umaalis ka at matagal ka kung magpakita ulit. Baka maging ganon ka rin ngayon." she frowned and pouted her lips.

"No, the situation was different back then as it is different now too. I will adjust all my schedules to match your preference. Don't worry about it, you'll get fed up with my face once we're together again." I winked at her and she lowered her shoulders as a sign of defeat.

We quickly finished packing the belongings that Letizia would be bringing to my house. With the exception of the kitchenware and other objects, I believe she will be transferring everything from her house. I additionally encouraged her to sell the property because it would soon be vacant and unusable.

"Ayokong ibenta 'to, Andreas. Dito kami lumaki ng kapatid ko, ayokong pati ito ay mawala pa sakin." she refused and I nodded.

"What are you planning to do with this, then?"

"Siguro ay ipapaayos ko ito kapag nagkapera na ako, maghahanap din ako ng taong magaalaga at magbabantay dito. Tsaka, dadalawin ko pa rin naman ito eh."

"Silly, you." I pinched her nose. "Who said you're going to tire yourself up just to take care of this house?"

"Ano?" of course, confusion rushed to her face.

"I'll ask a friend to renovate this house according to your preference, I'll also hire a trusted caretaker to keep this house clean and tidy as it is." I answered.

Her face changed into an amused and happy expression. "Really? Gagawin mo yan?"

"Yeah. Do you want that?"

"Oo naman!" She gave me a joyful clap and a tender embrace.

My men carried all the small and big boxes to the van and arranged it. Letizia and I were the first to leave the place and an SUV — of my possession, followed us to the clinic where Letizia has been visiting monthly for her check-up to the OB-GYN.
