So... Hi?
It has been literal years since I have updated this story — both because I lost where I was fully going with this plot, and, in all honesty, because I kind of, not exactly "stopped loving" these fandoms, but more so that I fell into other fandoms and these were (kind of) pushed onto the back burner.
With that being said, I have decided to — maybe temporarily, I'm not too sure at this point in time — mark this story as "complete" even though there is so much more I want to write for this fan fiction. Where I left it off at the end of chapter fifty-two, to me, sounds like a good ending for this book — and, who knows, I might come back and edit this book, and then go on to make a sequel instead of adding onto this.
But, like I have said, I'm not too sure what I am going to be doing.
I have to say a gigantic thank you to everyone who has been here since day one of this story back in 2017 (which is a shocking six years ago now), and a massive thank you to everyone that has joined in and kept up with this book along the way. It is because of all of you that 'The Devil Within' (which was originally called 'The Monster Inside,' if anyone remembers it ever being called that) has come so far — and actually got so many reads on it!
Thank you all so much! I hope to see you all again at some point, maybe in another story! But, until then, sayonara, friends.
